The built in cutter on this tippet spool is great. Even if you have nippers, getting it off the spool is easier with the built in cutters since you don't have to lean over if your tippet spool is on a hip pack. Great convenient feature on a product that is a staple component for every fly fisherman!

Not sure why, but for some reason I'm partial Scientific Anglers. There are a lot of companies out there that make great leader and tippet, and to be honest, they're all very similar.
