AWESOME Hydro Vest

**This review is for the previous VaporHowe model...NOT the 2.0** I bought this vest after running with my Osprey Dyna 6 for over a year. I love my Dyna, but wanted something with a lower profile for when I only need to carry water (and not additional gear like I do for certain races). The VaporHowe was the highest-rated I could find on many sites and blogs, so I decided to try read more it out. It's AWESOME! It's perfect for shorter runs when just some water is needed, but there's still capacity to carry more for longer runs. The soft water bottles up front are better than expected. I've always run with a bladder, so I thought these would be in the way, but they are comfortable both in reach and out of my way at the same time. There's also space in the back for my Osprey 1.5L bladder for longer runs which is great to have so many hydration options. The pockets up front a good size for the water bottles and some gels. I tried to put my iPhone 11 Pro in the zipper pocket, since the site said it fits up to a 7Plus. I have no clue how a Plus could ever fit in here, but probably a regular size iPhone 8 or older would fit snugly. I am able to close the zipper if my phone is out of the case, but it still stretches at the top (the pocket narrows at the top rather than being a more uniform width). This isn't a huge deal because I have just put my phone in the upper pocket on the back and it's fine there, doesn't bounce, and there's velcro at the top so I'm not worried about it falling out. The lower back pocket is perfect for carrying my Houdini jacket at an extra layer if I need it. It would probably be good for a headlamp too. The fit is nice and snug without being constricting or causing any rub/chafe. I have experience no bouncing (have NOT tried this vest with my bladder yet). Even though the back will be sweaty at the end of a run, there is still great airflow during the run that I don't notice it until I take the vest off. I am SO HAPPY I got this vest. I went for the older model (rather than the 2.0) mainly because I wanted the beautiful coral color (it is just as lovely in-person!) but also because this model has the side cinch straps to conform to your size more. I am happy with my decision since the color is awesome and the side cinch straps are great for getting this to fit just right. **Follow the site's Size Guide! I would have bought a Medium if I didn't look at the Size Guide. The Size Guide told me to get a Small and the small is perfect!**
