Great UL helmet

This is one of the most durable ultra light helmets I have had. It has held up to quite a few ice chucks over the past year. I believe the shape of the helmet deflects some of the impact. I have been hit by ice where I swore the helmet was going to be cracked but after inspection it was unscathed. One thing I would recommend is that Grivel take the writing off the webbing that adjusts read more the helmet. I believe this would make it easier to tighten and loosen the helmet when adding hoods or layers.

Great helmet

Like this helmet would like to see smaller size if you have a small head you will need some extra padding or a hat

Great Helmet

I like this helmet because it is light but still provides great protection, especially in the sides and on the back of my head. As another review stated, this helmet "wraps" a bit more than others I have tried around the back which helps when you are crawling through tight spaces on all sides and aren't aware of some stuff sticking out behind you until it hits the helmet, like what read more happened to me when we explored firery furance in arches np. This helmet also looks really cool and everytime I am out wearing it someone always lets me know that it looks awesome and a few people have offered to buy it off me. The universal fit/straps work great as well! The helmet stays exactly where I want it and no extra adjustments are needed.

Tested

I've used this, so far, for a week's trad climbing in warm (85-95 degrees), humid conditions. It was great. It's the most comfortable helmet in which I've climbed (I've also used BD's Vapor and Petzl's Sirocco, both of which I liked, but not as much as the Stealth, and several plastic helmets). The harness is easy to adjust and it wasn't hard to get a good fit. It doesn't feel appreciably read more heavier than the Sirocco. It also had great coverage. I took a pretty serious fall and the only noticeable thing was a 2mm dent in the foam at the very bottom of the back of the helmet. The plastic was barely scratched. I suspect in a helmet with less coverage it would've been the base of my skull with the dent. I have the helmet in yellow, which is very reflective. I don't know how the helmet will work for cold weather climbing or skiing, but it will be my primary for those purposes come winter. I suspect the helmet's harness will be manageable with glove liners on, and maybe with climbing gloves. The helmet comes with removable pads (and a spare set to customize the fit), so I anticipate getting a good fit over a beanie. It'd have to be a pretty good helmet for me to consider anything but this in the future.

Crazy light, stylish helmet.

This is the first helmet I’ve ever purchased and I like it so far! Amazingly breathable, you can even scratch your head through any of the many ventilation holes. I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve held off getting a climbing helmet since they all look so stupid, but this one I just had to get. Looks awesome, like nothing else on the market. I figured why buy a read more helmet you wouldn’t want to wear? The chin strap is a bit tight and placed oddly but the back of the head straps really snug the helmet to your head so the chin strap doesn’t really need to be tight at all. Next I’m getting the Edelrid folding helmet, check that thing out it’s cool looking.

Love it

I've been climbing in the Stealth Helmet for two seasons now, mostly with ice, and love the weight and fit. I can't help but appreciate the rear adjustment system and the fact that there's no buckle in the rear to break when I put it in my pack. The rear strap also cradles your head, making it hardly noticeable when I wear it. As I've used the helmet mostly with ice, it takes a read more blow with almost every swing and I have yet to see any impact or wear on the helmet. The weight is a bonus.
