Nice fit

Fits my Jeep Compass perfectly. A little tough getting the bolts started but once the threads started the landing pads mounted as intended.

Works Great!

These Landing Pads provide a clean simple way to attach the Yakima rack via Yakima Control Towers. They fit nicely to the factory tracks on my Toyota 4runner.

Landing Pad 12

Who knows what Subaru was thinking when they changed the roof racks on the 2010 Outbacks to not allow any existing after market rack to fit. I spent a lot of time looking for the best answer. Fortunately Yakima put in the work and came up with a good solution. These are simple to install and work just like they are suppose too. I have had these for a little over two years and they read more have worked great. They do make your rack and gear sit quite a bit higher above the roof of the car then the factory racks but they seem a lot more secure then the factory cross bars. And the look of the taller rack will grow on you. I have hauled kayaks, skis, bikes, fully loaded rocket boxes, and Christmas trees and have never had a problem. Also I have heard that Subaru have changed the racks on the Outback again and these only work for 2010-2012 models. So If you own one of 2010-2012 Outback and want to securely haul your toys, these are about only option, but a good one!

I have a 2008 Honda CR-V, which landing pads would work with the factory fixed point roof? I think there's already spots in the roof panel for these but am not sure, looks like 4 inserts that are removable.
