Werner Grand Prix 93 Carbon Stand-Up Paddle - Straight Shaft reviews and deals for sale
If you're looking for a low-key recreational paddle, look elsewhere, but if you plan on winning races and making other paddlers look foolish, then you can't go wrong with Werner Grand Prix 93 Straight-Shaft Carbon Paddle. With a blade and shaft made from Werner's Ultimate carbon, the Grand Prix is a race-ready rocket that wants to win. The buoyant blade pops out of the water for an effortless feel and a high tempo, and the dihedral blade shape provides smooth and consistent strokes even in choppy water. Werner built the blade with a 12-degree offset to help it stay in the water longer, and topped the rugged shaft off with its incredibly comfortable and efficient SUP palm grip, so you can paddle like a banshee without having to squeeze the Grand Prix to death.

January 29, 2020The Length is not 78”. That is good!
Great paddle given the price. This paddle comes in at about 86” if you use the whole length. I wanted a 79” paddle length. The handle is not glued in so it is easy to cut it with a hacksaw, sand the edges and epoxy in the hanlde in to give it the length you want. Awesome paddle!
