Vittoria Rubino Pro Speed G2.0 Tire - Clincher reviews and deals for sale

Vittoria's Rubino Pro Speed G2.0 Tire is built to shed weight, maximize speed, and reduce rolling resistance to provide the ideal race package for those who prefer the feel and support of a nylon casing. These tires use Vittoria's proved Graphene compounds in a 3C structure, designed to reduce rolling resistance, so you can get the most out of every effort you put into the pedals. Graphene takes the credit when it comes to enhancing traction, and increasing durability, and it packs in an impressive strength-to-weight ratio which enables Vittoria's designers to use a thinner application of the compound, reducing rotational mass for quicker rolling, and faster speeds. The Graphene compound sits ontop of a nylon casing utilizes a lofty 220 TPI structure that adds a bit of supple support to the thin compound that's been designed to shed weight above all, so that you can take on every bit of free speed the tarmac can offer.

Very poor durability

I always rode Vittoria tubulars and they were fantastic, however, since I started using them on my clincher wheels, I have now had two blowouts with separate new tires in 5 rides. Not good at all! Terrible value for the money - not worth it.

Punctures!!!

I didn't buy from CC these tires, they came with my 2020 Cannondale SystemSix. My bike got stolen 3 months after purchasing but got an exact replacement thru insurance. On the first bike I had a puncture with less than 130Miles on the tires. On the second bike I got 2 punctures (same day) with less than 45miles on the tires. All repairs were done at a bike shop, so it wasn't read more the quality of the job but the fragility of those tires. Not worth it... approached Vittoria and their response was that those tires are "race day" tires not normal tires... so be aware..

Amazing product evolution

Where I live the road bike tires have to be durable enough to deal with a lot of puncture threats. So mostly I've used different endurance tires in the past and appreciated their strengths while understanding there's a sacrifice with rolling resistance. After ripping a sidewall on a pair of Specialized Roubaix tires recently I reached out to my "Gearhead" asking for an opinion. read more Colin recommended the Vittoria rubinos and the inclusion of Graphene in the compound had me intrigued. Indeed, the tires are light and feel like the old race tires I used to blow through, but what really sets them apart for me is the grip and lack of rolling resistance. They grab the road in an almost uncanny fashion and inspire confidence through fast technical descents. It will be interesting to see how they stand the test of time, but for now based on first impressions they seem like alien technology. Love em'

Vittoria rocks

Vittoria tires are awesome whether they're a clincher or tubular. Quality product, rolls fast and lasts...can't go wrong in my opinion.
