Vans Infuse Snowboard Boot - Men's reviews and deals for sale

Vans took their top-of-the-line tech and infused it with classic style borrowed from the hiking world to make the Vans Men's Infuse Boa Snowboard Boot. And to achieve a super-customized fit, you'll find a hybrid closure system consisting of both Boa and traditional laces to blend ease of use with old-school reliability.

The Hybrid Boa system is a Vans first, and it combines the classic feel of traditional laces, with a Boa system to lock your heel in place and keep it feeling comfortably snug all day. The waterproof full grain leather upper isn't just sweet looking, it's super durable as well. The power strap cuff, and Flex Control tongue inserts give you a ton of control over how much flex your boots have, from freestyle and forgiving, to stiff and hard charging. The Custom liner is heat moldable, so you can get a perfectly broken-in fit before you ever slip them on. A V3 UltraCush footbed uses cork and EVA to fight off heel bruises, minimize chatter, and provide optimized arch support. If you have a set of well broken in hiking boots that you wear everywhere, consider the Infuse the on-snow version. You'll be bummed when it's time to take them off.

Comfortable and Durable

Loved these boots from the moment I stepped foot in them! Having the convenience of the boa to tighten the tongue perfectly, made every turn comfortable and sturdy for me! My favorite part of the boot is the addition of tongue inserts. This allows me to switch between a mid stiff boot, and a really stiff boot for those deep powder days.

Solid all around boot

These boots are a great do-it-all for someone who is used to riding more aggressively than the average bear on the mountain. I enjoyed the ankle boa because of the little bit of leather padding that rests in the middle of your tongue. Other ankle boas have always placed an uncomfortable amount of pressure on the tops of my feet even without tightening them too much. The leather read more piece allows for a softer feel without compromising security. The top strap is awesome. This one actually goes around the entire boot as one piece so you can get it very very tight if need be, unlike others that have two fixed pieces, which end up limiting your ability to tighten the top strap as much as you may want. I personally prefer a looser bottom and tighter top on my boot, so this worked out great for me. The footbed is solid. It provided me with plenty of board feel while giving support in order to prevent foot fatigue from long traverses and just a whole day of riding. The ankle articulation wasn't anything special. Not too much and not too little mobility was allowed with this boot. The The response from the heel side is good as well, and the ankle STAYS IN PLACE all day. I had absolutely ZERO heel lift while breaking in this boot and thereafter. The only bad thing in my opinion with this boot is the lacing system they implement. The laces themselves are flat and inflexible. The material isn't that standard stretchy material that most laced boots use, but more of a knitted fabric that got very frozen over, which made taking them off pretty crummy after a long and cold day of riding. Also, they are flat, which makes lacing a bit more tedious than other traditional laces. Other than that, I wouldn't give any complaints about this rock solid boot as a whole.

Nice boot! Slightly changed fitment

I recently tried on last year's Infuse and this year's in the same sitting while searching for my next boot. They're very similar with one crucial detail- they seemingly redesigned the toe box to be roomier (which is great!) and shorter (which may or may not be great for you). For me, the toe pressure was a little much in my size. The total footprint seems similar to last year. read more My other impression was that the partial boa outside the tongue of the boot is a rad idea, it really takes the sting out of cinching down traditional laces which can be tough to tighten in the bitter cold.
