Not what I expected

The description does not explain what this is. This is a bell that rings on its own from going over bumps. This is not the kind of bell you ring by pushing/pulling a lever. So, it will ring when it wants to, not when you want it to. There is no way I would put this on my bike, it would drive me crazy. I sent it back.

I ride crowded two-way trails near my house, and the Timber bell is definitely a helper. I can keep my momentum because most everyone hears me coming and moves over to the side, sometimes before I see them! After two years the mechanism is a bit warn, so the lever slips down. During the pandemic, I ride with it on almost all the time.

Perfect warning device

I've been meaning to get one of these for a while and I feel much better when I'm coming down a trail to warn peeps. I have to say that it can be loud for me but probably not too loud for others nearby. Glad that I got this to be more responsible sharing the trail
