Used this rack on our camper & it performed excellent. We traveled close to 1200mi from OH to TN, NC & back to OH & had no issues with it. Bomb Proof

I’ve had a few different styles that I bought because they were “cheaper”. I always hated how those cheaper ones would have play on the road or had cheap components or would rub the bikes against each other on the ride. Frustrating Quality Control

I'm sure the rack will suit my needs nicely. I'm just frustrated that it took a trip to the hardware store with one of the trays over my shoulder to put it together. It was missing the 8 screws and 8 washers that hold the trays to the rack.

Easy of loading and unloading bikes.

I have been thinking of buying this to replace the current Saris rack and finally I bought it in the Sales season. It was easy to install and very convenient to load and unload the mountain bike.

Best all around rack

I had the previous version of this rack and when I picked up my fat bike, well I needed one that would accommodate the big 5" doughnuts and why mess with a good thing right. All aspects… read more of the rack are top notch and I'm very happy with the fact that I can carry my road bike, cross bike, TT bike, MTB bike, dirt jumper and my Fatbike (ok I have issues). So all is good right? well here's my only complaint. by making this rack accommodate the 5" tires they moved the fork arms out wider and now when you go to access the handle to lift and lower the rack it gets in the way and makes it awkward. You either need to move the arm or grab it at a weird angle. Granted this only comes into play if the rack is in the up position or you are folding it up with no bikes on it but this is every time I go to the grocery store.

Quality Rack

I have owned several bike racks with all kinds of attachments for the past 30+ years. This is probably the best, most, secure, convenient and easiest rack to quickly load an unload our bikes for sure. I hope to get many years of reliable use out this product.

Great Rack

I have been using these for the better part of the year. This rack is well thought out and extremely easy to use. In comparison to the T1 and some of the more low cost models you can really FEEL the difference when loading bikes and driving with them. That alone is worth the $ upgrade. The two things that slightly bother me are the spinning locking mechanism that tightens and snugs your rack to the car - its not easy to grip and I cut my finger almost every time I tighten it, so going between cars is a slight pain. The second is the locking mechanisms to actually lock your bikes to the racks... they dont reach very far and it creates rub when driving because of how tight they fit on the frame. Both are minor inconveniences. The flip up/down system is bulky and soooo easy to use. It was very easy to install and I would highly recommend this rack to anyone interested.

I have been using the original T2 for many years and the only issue we ever had was the lever being hard to reach. The lever on this rack is at the end of the rack and is much easier to reach and makes raising and lowering so much easier. T2Pro XT hitch 2 bike rack

This rack is definitely worth the money. Took about an hour to put all the parts together (only pictures which were sometimes unclear). Bikes mount by two points - strap through back tire frame and ratcheting arm over front tire. Folding the rack out of the way is easy and doesn't require super strength. After… read more struggling for several years with another bike rack which had parts that broke off trying to slip one bike to the back of the rack and then having to bungee tie the tires to keep the bikes apart, this rack is a dream. DId I say expensive, but WORTH IT?! It's worth it!

Best rack I've owned

This is my favorite bike rack I've owned. The rack itself is super sturdy yet easy and light enough to take off by myself. The locking system throughout the entire rack is functional and simple. The ease of the handle on the end of the rack is a super nice feature for easy access to stowing away the rack.

Sturdy, Reliable, Versatile

The THULE T2 PRO XT is a great rack. It holds 2 bikes easily with no interference between the two as long as you arrange the trays accordingly. A nice feature as some racks want your brake lever on one bike cutting up your saddle or scratching your dropper stanchion on the other. I love how quick and easy you can drop it low, I have a Ford Focus Hatchback and can drop the rack low and open the hatch fully even with bikes on the rack. It's equally easy to raise it up and out of the way when empty and gives you a nice audible "click" so you know it's locked upright. There are tons of things I love about this rack, but there is one big problem for me which may not be a problem for some. The retaining arm started to scratch up the lowers on my fork. Purely cosmetic, as it's the outside of the lowers (where they've been smashed on rocks anyways), but I just don't like it. I put some protective tape on my fork to prevent further damage but that really shouldn't be required. I've also seen people cut old pool noodles and wrap the upper arm to prevent this. All in all, awesome rack, killer features, but my bike gotta look good to feel good.

Thule Hitch Mount Rack

Love this Bike rack, it's worth every penny! I've had the older version of this which I loved until using this one. Taking it on and off the car is way easier with the knob vs. pin. Lowering the rack is also much easier now. Same key for cable locks as well as locking it to the car is much smarter.

So easy to use!

This rack is amazing. It's super easy to load bikes on quickly and securely & I have no problem accessing the trunk of my Subaru Outback when bikes are on the rack. Two bikes can fit very easily without feeling too snug. The rack was fairly straightforward and easy to install.

Did not fit 2018 Subaru Outback

I was excited to set this up but as I took out the manual there was a bad surprise: Although Thule's website wizard shows this would fit my 2018 Subaru Outback, the hole to the secure this in the hitch is "too close" to the end of the hitch, making this item incompatible (unstable / unsafe). Thule support confirmed this via chat, needs to be at least 3.8 cm and that's much closer… read more on this car.

This is a nice update from Thule. The new hitch connection is cool, the hand release position is much better. It is a bit of a clunker but it seems it will last.

Essential for MTN Bikers

This rack is fantastic, easy to install with only a few parts, simple design and works flawless. I say it's essential for MTN bikers because of the shocks under the main bar. Most hanging bike racks will not fit a MTN bike with this set up. If you are looking for a sturdy 2 bike mount go with Thule and you can add the additional 2 racks to this if you ever make more friends.
