This is a great year around jacket for the Pacific NW. It keeps me warm and dry and fits like a glove while still allowing movement. If I could only own one coat here this one fits the bill.

This is my first North Face product and now know it’s a great product This coat replaced another brand that has the same trifecta type features and it blows it away. Warm and comfortable. Worth every cent. Backcountry is as great as their merchandise, I scored a $60 discount and had it in 2 days. Go for it. Btw- I’m 6-1” skinny with long arms and it fits well.

I was looking for a warm winter coat that didn't look or feel to "bulky." I have a Carhardt, which is warm and fine for snowy, sleety weather...but it's just too damn heavy and stiff feeling for comfortable wear. This coat, though, is ideal.
