Sunski Treeline Polarized Sunglasses reviews and deals for sale

When the trees turn to shrubs, and the shrubs turn to rocks, it's time to bust out the Sunski Treeline Polarized Sunglasses. These mountaineering-inspired shades feature polarized lenses that cut through the blinding glare coming off the snow, as well as ventilated side flaps that keep the sun from slipping in through the cracks, so you can see better when you're at high altitudes. Strap loops at the temples and grippy nose pads keep you from losing your shades when you're ripping around at the ski resort, and lightweight construction ensures all-day comfort any time you're moving through the mountains.

Look good; not hearty

Pro: The lens are great, and they block out light really well. Reflective light from snow and talus doesn’t give me headaches. The fit is comfortable, frames are light, and they look great. Cons: the wings fell off within a couple of uses. They’re held in place with tiny, fragile plastic pegs that rip easily. The frame seems fragile. Although they look like glacier glasses, read more I wouldn't use them on anything technical. They fog up easily. Overall, they seem a bit too pricey and fragile for practical, technical use.

Crag tested, trail approved

The Treeline model is excellent for sunny trail days, especially if the terrain is covered in snow. Although incredibly light, these totally hold up to rugged days at the crag, tossing them on and off from belaying to climbing.

Great shades Greater customer support

These things are super light and block the sun from every angle. the holes on the side flaps allow you to still see motion and keeps your peripheral vision intact! Lost a flap and a team member emailed me back within an hour with the solution! These things are going to serve me well and last forever.

Awesome!

These are super lightweight and still block the sun! I wore a pair of julbos to the top of Mount Adams + they gave me a pretty bad headache (along with the altitude). I wore these guys up Mount Hood and they sit nice and light on my face but still feel secure! They are also great for the price.

What a steal!

These glasses are great, For the price you can not get much better. The folding side flaps are amazing and actually block out the sun. I use these mostly for Alpine Touring but also use them as casual wear all the time. The polarized lens on them are surprisingly effective on most well lit days! I would say they fit a medium sized face the best. Highly recommend these!

Great for the Price

I got these glasses on sale, and I love them. I really like the side panels because it takes me back to the old days, it makes it have a retro feel which I like a lot. They are great in the sun and they keep the sun out of my eyes. I have been super pleased with these sunglasses so far.

Questionable quality

Was stoked to find great looking polarized shades at a decent price. Unfortunately was too good to be true. Four months later, the lenses have started to delaminate and I have been unable to contact anyone at Sunski.

Great Value Glacier Glasses

I used these for summer mountaineering on Mount Rainier, Mount Shasta, and Gannett Peak. They provided great eye protection on the blinding snowfields on bluebird days, and they did not fog up despite my copious (some might say pathophysiological) perspiration. Coupled with an OR Sun Runner hat, I was able to create a happy shady place for my face despite the sizzling high-altitude read more radiation raining down. The polarized lenses provided crisp views, and they survived 7 days of use without a scratch. I did store them in the included sack when not on my head. The side shields will pop off if torqued by helmet straps or clumsy gloved hands, which is my only complaint. They are stylish enough to be worn in public. I wore them to the pool, to say: "I might be drinking cheap beer at a pool, but I'd rather be chasing the demon that lives in thin air."

So far so good

Sunski makes really fantastic glasses if you don't care about them being exceptionally durable. My last pair of sunski frames were ruined by having them rub against the inside of my backpack, most other glasses I've owned wouldn't have that issue. Back to the Treelines, they look and feel awesome. I'm really hoping they last a while.

Narrow field of view

I have a big face, and these didn't quite fit. Honestly I expected the frames to be much bigger and allow for more peripheral vision. The side shields and magnetic lock worked well, and had a nice look.

Full Coverage

To be honest, I haven't done much glacier exploring In know these, yet . But, I'm a big fan, regardless. They fit me well, they've got a unique look, and I dig the coverage I get from all angles .

Great option!

Backcountry sells a handful of glacier shades. These are a modern take on the traditional look you'd get from Julbo or Vuarnet. For the price, you'd be hard pressed to find another pair of glacier glasses with polarized lenses at this price! I've not used them on any high alpine trips yet, but general look, fit and quality has been good.

NOT Blinded by the Light!

I wanted something that would add protection without looking like a heavy duty glacier goggle. The Treelines are the perfect pair of sunnies for all my adventures- from backcountry skiing to hiking and climbing. The removable sides are super cool with the little magnet that holds them in place. I'm hoping next season Sunski will come out with some more color varieties.

Five Star For The Money

The sunglasses are nothing short of dope. I have loved them more each day and time that I've worn them. They're a perfect combination of mountain man aesthetics with modern features. I chose the brown tortoise frame color and they look great. The lenses are extremely dark and also... polarized. The side shades enhance the darkness of the lenses and were a little something to get read more used to but I have quickly begun to like. Even if you totally can't stand the side shades they're easily removable and replaceable. These sunglasses really are neat. I've received tons of inquiries on where to get them and/or compliments.

Full protection

I had a serious eye injury almost two years ago and need to protect my eye from the sun to prevent further complications. I don't want to look like i'm going to climb Everest every day so other mountaineering sunglasses are too much. These are the perfect blend of modern day style and technical performance. I am stoked to say the least

Do these glasses ski well? Like do the holes in the side let in a lot of wind when you’re sending it? Because I am debating what do get between these and some pit vipers
