Smith Level MIPS Helmet reviews and deals for sale

Your style and skill points won't go very far if you aren't skiing with high safety points, so strap Smith's Level Helmet to your dome every time you click in. This is one of Smith's newer, lighter helmets designed with a hybrid, Aerocore construction and honeycomb-shaped Koroyd inserts to increase levels of protection while minimizing weight. The hybrid construction combines tough ABS with flyweight in-mold technology for a light, protective, fit. The impact-absorbing shell is backed by MIPS technology to reduce rotational forces in the case of an oblique impact. AirEvac switches twenty vents open and close to customize airflow on any given wintry day, and the XT2 performance liner has antibacterial properties to reduce odor. The Level is audio compatible with sound systems from Outdoor Tech.

Just a tad tight on the ears

Solid helmet, love that the vents can be opened/closed depending on the weather. I like the adjustable boa closure. My only complaint is that after a few hours the top of my ear gets sore from the ear padding.

Good helmet, two complaints.

I really like this helmet a lot and would give it five stars if. It for the material covering the ear pads. They’re fine so long as you’re not using outdoor tech chips but when I slid those in, I realized how little padding there was between them and my ear and how rough-feeling the material at the center or the ear pad is. It’s not the end of the works but to have my cheap read more old Anon helmet out-comfort my new one is dumb. Complaint number two: why does this helmet not have a magnetic chin strap closure? Much cheaper helmets have this feature. Unclear why they didn’t add this feature. Beyond that, the fit is good and I like all the vents.
