Smartwool Merino 150 1/4-Zip Baselayer - Men's reviews and deals for sale
The Smartwool Men's Merino 150 1/4-Zip Baselayer can be worn layered under a light fleece during sunny spring ski tours or on its own during summer hikes. The lightweight merino wool fabric effectively manages moisture from sweat and is breathable enough to prevent overheating when the temperature is well above freezing. Increasing the overall durability of the shirt, Smartwool wrapped merino wool around a nylon core for the best of both worlds.

April 29, 2019Great Shirt
This shirt was as advertised. I wore it in cool and warm situations and it performed perfectly! It dried quickly when it was drenched from perspiration. Highly recommended!

April 5, 2019Light, warm, and nice-smelling
Very comfortable, surprisingly durable for how thin the fabric is, and very odor resistant. I use this as a baselayers or light-midlayer when traveling or in the backcountry (e.g. multi-day yurt trips) when I want to be able to wear things a number of times without getting too smelly. The short sleeve and quarter zip versions are great, too. I'm often between a Medium and Large… read more depending on fit and brand (5'10", 180#, wide shoulders that often don't work with slim cuts). I've found that Smartwool's slim fit is pretty skin tight in Medium, which works as a tight baselayer but not as well for casual/travel wear. These are a little loose on me in a Large (a relaxed fit, perhaps), but not too big. Smartwool also makes a 150 t-shirt that's not a slim fit (the v neck, I think)—that one is too big in a Large for me.

February 24, 2019Fantastic
Pretty much just believe whatever Smartwool wrote in their description. Itâs a great layer. I can wear it with a shell and be good down to around 15 F. I bought the thicker version as well. Definitely recommend the half zip for some flexibility in how you wear it.

January 30, 2019I love this shirt.
This is my go-to cold weather running shirt. It is super soft and comfortable. As a single layer, I can wear this into the low 40s and I don’t get too hot in it. I’ve also used it as a base layer skiing and it performed well. Although it’s a little pricey, it is well worth it. You won’t regret buying this shirt.

December 13, 2018Lightweight
Nice lightweight layering piece. Wicks moisture well and the 1/4 zip is nice for venting.

November 28, 2018Great Lightweight Baselayer!
I purchased this top for my brother and he said: "I use merino wool for all of my base layers, typically a 100, 150 and 250 with a shell or insulated jacket for almost all winter activities. I wear this 150 layer all year round as it does a great job keeping me warm in the winter and cool in the summer heat. It's light weight yet surprisingly durable."

January 30, 2018My preferred ski touring layer
The merino wool on this thing wicks sweat like no other layer I've had. I love the 1/4 zip option on this thing too. Love letting the chest hair show when it's blue bird out and I'm hiking up hill but having the option to zip up if I'm getting a little to much sun. All in all, a great next to skin layer for it's wicking properties and feel on skin. Doesn't hold any stink either.… read more
