Ultra Great

The 1L makes a perfect waterproof ditty-bag to hold all my essentials for quick access while remaining weatherproof. These bags are pretty lightweight, but I've had no durability issues.

The best out there

The best dry bags out there. I use them to keep many camera and lenses dry when I'm out on a rainy day. I also use them in slot canyons, boating, and river trips.

Great when used properly

Extremely light weight dry bag, I got the 2L which is a great size for a couple of small items. Kept it inside my backpack which would regularly get wet when I was working on the East Coast but the items that I kept in the dry bag always stayed dry. I agree with previous reviews that the material does seem like it has the potential to rip quite easily and if I needed a dry bag read more for a more rugged adventure I would use one of my thicker ones instead of this one.

Dry!

Lightweight, watertight, keeps my stuff dry. I’ve tried a few brands and Sea to Summit is my favorite so far.

Works!

It's lightweight and waterproof, but personally I would buy something a little more durable.

Great stuff sacks!

These waterproof stuff sacks are invaluable for backpacking. Used them for clothes, sleeping bag/liner, toiletries, and food without disappointment. A little pricey but worth it to keep your gear dry in a downpour. They tear easily if used in an abrasive situation but if they stay in the pack most of the time, they work well.

Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Sack

Got this for my brother in preparation for Hurricane Irma in Florida. Hopefully he won't need it, but if he does, it should keep all of his essentials dry.

Great to keep small items dry

this works great to keep essential things (headlamp, lighter, small first aid kit) dry on trips where they can't get wet. It is a pretty thin material, so I wouldn't put it anywhere where it could get abraded or cut.

Works well if used correctly

Great dry bag if you're planning on just putting gear in it and keeping it on a boat. However, I can't say the material is terribly strong, and it can be punctured fairly easily. I was using it tubing on the river and it was dragging behind my tube. Must have bumped a couple of rocks because there was a tear in it at the end of my ride and some gear got wet. Probably my fault for read more dragging it but I feel as though it could be a bit more durable.

Light weight and waterproof!!

I just wanted something to protect some essential clothing and whatnot from the elements but did not want to add any weight to my pack. So far this dry sack has done its job! I'm very happy with how light weight it is as well!

Seems tough

Bought several small sacks to compare. This sack does seem durable. Will probable go with the e-vent sacks instead.

Super light and super right.

This thing organizes all my snacks and small stuff, and it doesn't add much weight or packing space to my rig. It's also super protective and seems highly durable. The roll-top is super secure.

Perfect for backpacking

These things are great to help organize any pack. Use them for food, or to keep wet clothes/towels separate in your backpack. They also make great additional storage, strap them to the outside if you have too much gear! Easy to find a use for any size.

Dry bag

I bought several of these bags to keep certain articles dry in addition to pack rain cover. You can use one inside a small pack to keep everything dry and place phone and other electronics inside small dry bag and placed inside large dry bag for added protection. Looks like they will wear good but don't allow bag to rub against anything hard or protruding object or will wear away read more protective layer. I now feel secure in the fact everything will be dry when I make it to camp.

Works well for the price

Great for canyoneering, backpacking and river trips. It's not exactly a burly bag but it gets the job done. When i go canyoneering i put my items that need to stay dry in the dry sack, and then put the dry sack inside of a backpack to keep it from getting damaged.

Tore after a day of use

I used an 8L for 5 day trip to pack some warmer gear. I loved it, but on the second day it just tore for no reason. Returning it sadly. I may need to just upgrade to the heavier duty sack sold by sea to summit. Really bummed this one crapped out so fast on me.

Dry and Light

This dry bag is truly dry. My first time using it, I attached it to the front of my paddleboard with my phone inside, and luckily, the truly stayed dry and kept my phone safe! A lot of dry bags seem to be really heavy and thick, and this one is light, without sacrificing quality and practicality.

Does anyone have experience using these bags to try and keep liquid in? I am looking for something to keep sweaty clothes sectioned off after hot yoga classes.

I'm thinking of creating my own backpack with stuff sacks. I would like to use a 20 liter for the main body, and then use two smaller ones for the smaller gear. I need to have lightweight, durable and as waterproof as possible. Any suggestions? Thanks PJ
