Salomon Sense Ride 3 GTX Invisible Fit Trail Running Shoe - Men's reviews and deals for sale
When you're heading out for long runs in the mountains you never know how conditions will change. With this shoe, you'll have waterproof protection that's both highly breathable and subtly integrated into the upper thanks to Gore-Tex Invisible Fit technology. Bonding the membrane to the upper fabric rather than working as a separate bootie, Invisible Fit increases flexibility, comfort, and breathability, with the same Gore-Tex protection you trust when fast-moving storm clouds sweep through.

June 25, 2020Toebox an overall fit is sloppy.
The Solomon Sense Rides GTX Invisible Fit are just OK, they’re nice but nothing special. Definitely overhyped! I expected more :( I consider them lightweight, but they’re not ultra lightweight sneakers. Yes, I think they will be durable compared to what some manufacturers put out as pathetic versions of plastic and foam sneakers. I would have not purchase these if they did not… read more come in a All-Black Gore-Tex color-way. I was looking for something like the sporty S-Labs but in Gore-Tex. But again Salomon still does not make them, and I can’t see buying Salomons if their not offered in Gore-Tex. I love the Salmon Speedcross 5 GTX even though they’ve made the toebox a little too sloppy now with a less of a performance fitment. But I wanted something with less aggressive tread’s than the awesome Speedcross 5 GTXs. The Solomon Sense Rides GTX has nice protective asymmetrical toe protection which is important. The negatives are that the toebox is really wide, loose and boxy, as well as the overall fit. Unfortunately the Ortholite footbed is subpar and does NOT offer the cushioning and the quality arch support I expected and require. I was looking for something more for every day wear that was just as sexy and as well-made as the Speedcross 5 GTX, unfortunately Salomon has yet to make something like that :( To me they should just make a different version of the Speedcross 5’s just with a less aggressive tread pattern like that of the Solomon Sense Rides, but what do I know I’m only a Creative Director/Designer ;) The midsole is pretty comfortable, but the overall design/shape is like an old mans sneaker.
