Rome Cache Snowboard Bag reviews and deals for sale
Why bring just one board? Pack the entire quiver on Alaskan shred trips, Midwest rail missions, and powder pilgrimages to Hokkaido with the Rome Cache Snowboard Bag. This cavernous snowboard bag holds multiple boards up to 168cm in length, and its Coffin construction features upper and lower chambers so you have plenty of space for boots, outerwear, and other shred essentials. It also has multiple external pockets to stash and organize smaller gear and layers.
Its integrated board scabbard acts like a knife sheath, protecting your boards from banging around and scratching each other. Plus, its EVA-reinforced sidewalls and Duratuff lining act as further reinforcement when you're loading the bag into car trunks and airport check-ins. It's finished off with all-terrain wheels that easily cruise over cracked sidewalks and through airport terminals for smooth-rolling portability.

February 17, 2020Excellent board bag w plenty of storage
This bag is solid, durable, roomy and easy to travel with. The material is strong nylon and reinforced where needed. The wheels are tough and offer a smooth ride indoors and outdoors, even up and down curbs. The handling straps are comfortable and sturdy making it easy to pick it up and throw it around as needed. The exterior security straps help keep the bag and contents secure… read more and tight. Zippers and large and durable w smooth operation and no snags. Now for the primary feature, storage. This bag is spacious and carries almost all of my snowboard gear that will fit under the 50lbs. limit and had room for more. It has plenty of clearance for board with mounted bindings and for a helmet too. I packed this bag with the following items with no issues: 1 x 152cm board 1 x 154cm board with medium bindings mounted 1 x helmet (interior) 1 x 24L heli pack (interior) 1x shovel blade and handle (interior) 1 x probe (interior) 2 x radios & charger (interior) 2 x L jackets (exterior pocket) 1 x fleece layer (interior) 1 x snowboard pants (exterior pocket) 2 x goggles plus lenses (interior) 3 x pairs of gloves & mitts (exterior pocket) 2 x balaclavas (exterior pocket) 1 x pair of boots Some tools and accessories And a few other things here and there That maxed out about 50lbs. and there was still space to add other small items if needed or if I wanted to pay extra. The interior removable boot bag is nice too, but you can use it to store other things and just throw boots near the bottom of you prefer. Definitely would recommend this bag, great product, awesome features and reasonable price. Nice aesthetics for a board bag too.

I just got back from a week long trip to Mt. Baker with this bag and it worked great! This bag has tons of space, and I loved the zippered pockets on the top for my wet gear and base layers, beanies etc. I also really liked the detachable boot bag that is included. The wheels were burly and the plastic rails on the bottom are a nice touch. Seems like this bag will hold up to… read more years of abuse on the road. I would recommend this bag for anyone looking to take multiple boards on a longer trip, or someone (like me) who overpacks. I was able to fill the following in the main compartment (not all items pictured) 160 cm snowboard w/o bindings 157 cm snowboard with bindings Jacket size XL Mid layer jacket size XL Bibs size XL Helmet Shovel Handle Probe Boots In top compartments: Shovel Blade Gloves-2 pairs Snowboard socks- pairs First Layer top First Layer Bottoms Beanies x 2 Facemasks x 2

February 8, 2020The picture is the best part of this bag
I wanted to like this bag so much but its ultra wide width and shallow depth makes it somewhat of a useless board bag. Because of its shallow depth, the bindings poke through the top so your gear is at the mercy of the baggage handler or what's stacked on top. Internally, there are no secure straps to hold the board in place. Read this as your board will slide around inside… read more the bag. Being it's really wide, your board is going to swim inside this bag in all directions and since wheeled bags require your board for rigidity, I can only guess at the frustrating experience of rolling this around from point to point. The construction of the bag is great. The 9000D nylon material is super tough but the inclusion of only one internal bag makes this somewhat of a non premium bag but with a premium price tag. The final drawback for me is that its wheel assembly is somewhat lacking. The bottom of the bag around the wheel housing should have a layer of protected material to guard the material from ripping as you drag it around up and down steps. See Burton's Wheelie (not the gig but the Wheelie board case) for how it's supposed to be done. Sorry for the harsh review, I am not sure this bag was designed by someone who has had the experience of hauling gear around airports or train stations.
