Great Waders

Wore these for 4 days straight and loved them. Bottom is wide enough to fit comfortably over wading boots. Not too bulky but loose enough to be comfortable with a layer underneath. Highly recommend.

Awesome Waders

I was really surprised about the bad reviews. One girl called them budget! I disagree with the bad reviews. My boyfriend has been fishing for over 10 years and when he saw the waders I bought he was very impressed. I had the generic waders with the rubber boots for a while until I became better. I love these waders, they are so light yet very quality, allows me to move very easily read more in the water and climb over stuff and the felt boots allow me to grip rocks without worrying about slipping. They have a really cute fit to them that doesn’t cover up your curves. I’m 160 and 5’2 and a size 7 shoe. I got the medium and a size 7 boot and everything fit great! I wore them in waist high water and not a drop of water on me. The boots are very comfy

Good fit budget wader

I bought these because my old set of Simms had finally worn out. I was intrigued by the price and the fit. It's extremely difficult to find a wader that fits a woman's body correctly and I feel like Redington did an excellent job at this. 12 months later, I recently found 2 holes and the warranty is only 1 year. Mind you, I go fishing 1-2 times a week and I'm pretty hard on my gear. read more I should have known better than to buy a budget wader.

May fit some, not me

Enticed by a sale price, I recently bought these. Unfortunately, they will be returned, mostly due to poor fit. The legs are oddly baggy, while the torso is quite short, giving me a major wedgie. I am 5'6", 140lbs, and have shorter legs to a longer torso. The material also feels flimsy and not durable in comparison to the pair of waders I need to retire, which I bought for a similar read more price.

Great Waders!

I purchased these for my mother, who was starting fly fishing. They fit true to size and she really liked the weight and warmth. Great for multi season fishing. I'm thinking about getting the same for myself.

Fits true to size, but no small - long

I ordered a small knowing the inseam was 1-2 inches too short (but everywhere else fits perfectly), and find they are pretty tight on the knees when I bend my legs. It would have been nice to be able to order a long version of the small size.

Reliable

I fly fish a few times a year. I wanted a good waders, but investing in the highest end options didn't make sense for me. I looked at a few entry level options and put my money on the Redington Willows. I have been super pleased with the fit. I followed the size chart suggestion and the medium is just right, even with my long legs. The stocking feet are a tiny bit snug on my size read more 9.0 feet, but it doesn't cause me any discomfort and fits nicely in my wading boots. If you have size 10 feet or more, keep that in mind. I am stoked on the big pocket and the belt. In fact, those are must haves, in my opinion! They safely store your sunnies, sunscreen, gaiters, line, extra flies, and more. Plus, I think they are cute, for waders.

Yay for Women's Waders!

First of all,I was so psyched to see reasonable pair of waders for women that don't break the bank and don't make you look like a balloon. It seems like its hard to get the best of both worlds, yet these waders are pretty darn close. Anyway, I am overall content with these waders, as they get the job done at a very affordable price. They are well made. and conveniently adjustable read more for someone like me who is kind of between sizes. I wish I would have gotten a longer pant length though, because the knees get pretty tight when I bend down far enough.

Guess I have big feet?

I'm 5'5', 140 lbs, wear a size 8 shoe and got the M. Body part fits, but my big toe was pushing against the end of the foot. I did not want to size up just for the feet size, but decided I could not stand having pressure on my toes like that, so need to send these back and get something else.

Gone fishin’!

These are great waders for a good price. Have gone on several day-long fishing trips with them so far and they seem durable and well-made. I am 5’6”, 125 lbs and a size 4 in jeans and the small fits great. Another note: if anyone else is a broke college student like me who can’t afford to buy wading boots, try wearing some old tennis shoes a couple sizes larger than yours read more over these neoprene booties. Worked well for me!

Good waders...good value

Bought these waders for my wife largely because of the price but after she has fished them a few times I find the quality and execution to be above there retail cost and she says the fit is great. She is 5'7 and bought the medium. She puts them on par with other more expensive brands. Now sure now how they will hold up long term but right now very satisfied.

1st time in waders

I've never purchased waders before & was confused on which brand to get and size. After much research on Simms & Patagonia, I decided on Redington as price was a great and also had good reviews. I'm 5'4 and 130 so I choose the small. Fits perfect and still lots of room for my Columbia ski jacket for winter fishing! They're well made, comfortable, durable, warm, and flattering to read more the female form. My only drawback was the front pouch is only water resistant, which is not ideal as the pocket contents get quickly waterlogged if you're in deep water. I also purchased the Willow boots to go along with the waders. backcounty.com has amazing customer service and will always purchase my outdoor gear with them!

Just Right

Can't be beat for the price. Kept me warm and dry. Ideally they would be a tiny bit longer, but I have really long legs. So for the average person they're probably just right.

A step up without breaking the bank

I used to have a pair of Caddis waders made for kids - like a boy's L. Those actually fit and held up surprisingly well for $100. Got a few seasons out of them, with leaks and cold feet finally prompting me to buy a new pair of waders. I intended on replacing them with the same thing - they were lightweight and breathable. However, they only had M or Xl, so I tried on these Redingtons read more to see if they could be worth the extra $60. Now, I haven't worn these enough to be able to say how long they'll hold up, but I can say this... Firstly, the size small, actually works - it's not perfect, but I'm a 5'1" gal with a 29-30" inseam, so that's to be expected. There's less bag and sag in the legs than in any other wader I tried that didn't come in a size and length. These also have the fleece lined chest pockets. I can't stress enough how totally awesome this is. I can't believe that that isn't included in the description. Wearing gloves on the river is near impossible, and these offer some relief. Being female specific, the belt loops are in the right place. Like. Above the hips. Ladies, we all know that waders fall far short of a fashion statement, so let's be clear - they'd better be functional and safe or get lost. Cinch these up across your waist instead of your hips and feel better about doing deeper wades. They're like a mid-weight. Not super thin 'breathables' and not something you'd take to sit around in a duck blind in the dead of winter. Just right for fishing cool streams and rivers - tailored by whatever layers you put underneath - which it allows room for without being like harem pants. So. I've rambled about these enough. Not convinced? Look at the price tag of other women's waders that are $100 or more than these, and see how you feel then. Don't want crap, but aren't ready to be a full-on guide? Then these are for you.

Kenai Approved

Bought these for a winter fishing trip on the Kenai River. They are super durable and kept me warm in the freezing river. Glad I got the medium longs for a little bit of extra length.

Stay dry, not broke

Got these for my girlfriend that wanted to get into fly fishing. She loves them. The 3 layer material keeps her dry and isn't stiff and uncomfortable. The reinforcements on the front of the leg give her peace of mind while bushwhacking to get to the water. She is 5'5 and she wears the Small.

Nice fit, decent quality.

I bought these for my special lady friend, and she really likes the fit. They're great for the casual fisher-lady, but if you're going to spend a lot of time on the water, I might look elsewhere. They are reinforced through the knees, so that's a bonus, but they do seem a little thin everywhere else.

Love these!

While waders generally aren't the most flattering, these look and feel great. Thin enough to not feel overheated, but plenty of space to layer up underneath if fishing in colder water. They easily tighten up and have a perfectly convenient pocket in the chest.

Great beginner waders

I got these as my first waders when I started fishing. They get the job done without breaking the bank. I have used them about once or twice a week for close to a year and I just barely got my first hole from wear or abrasion on the edge of the seam taping. For someone who is just getting into it or looking for something more affordable, these are perfect. I am 5'9" 150lbs with read more a women's size 10 foot and the M/Long fit me very well. I can even fit sweats underneath in the winter. They have a bit of a shapeless fit, but you can't beat the price!
