Redington Crux Rod + Tube reviews and deals for sale

Whether you're casting into small creeks or into larger bodies of water, you need an instrument that can present your fly gently and accurately. The Redington Crux Rod with Tube is the choice for anglers who want a confident delivery over short to mid-range distances, while still giving them the ability to have a clean presentation over a longer distance. From the impossibly light 3-weight to the more powerful 10-weight, this fast action rod has a Line Speed Taper that encourages line movement for more efficient distance. Redington's Angled Key Grip is constructed with pre-compressed cork, for a stable, responsive feel in your palm that lasts. The anodized aluminum reel seat increases durability, even in salt water areas, and it even has built in hook-keepers to keep your rig secure while you hike to a new casting position. When you're ready to head home, load the rod into the included Cordura rod tube to ensure that nothing will happen to it while it bounces around in the trunk of your car.

Great Rod, Great Price

I was on the hunt for an upgrade from my previous rod and I was looking for something with a little bit faster action. I looked at some Sage rods, but they are quite spendy. I ended up looking at the Crux after a while and bought it. After a couple days on the river with I found that it casts like a dream. I love the look and feel of the Pre-compressed cork. As silly as it seems, read more the difference in the corks actually acts as a reminder to keep your form which I found nice. It has what I would call a moderate fast action, and I love it. My one complaint is the fact that it doesnt have a hook holder above the handle. It seems stupid but when walking from hole to hole in thick brush it would be nice to have. Overall a great looking and performing rod to add to the collection.
