My favorite bars

These are my favorite bars for long rides. I tend to try to balance nutrition between liquid calories and some type of bar for rides over two hours. These taste pretty good, have plenty of calories, and don't sit heavy in the stomach. I have never had any problems digesting them on the road, which I can't say about a lot of other bars I have tried. I like some of the flavors… read more more than others but am generally very happy with these and always keep one in the jersey.

New Favorites

These bars are amazing! I have been a fan of cliff bar for years, decided to give these a try and was blown away. Besides being delicious, they are extremely filling for what it is. You can literally taste the ingredients in these! One bar will be plenty for a hike or other medium length adventure, and I often split the bar in half. I will be getting more of these for sure!

THE Bar

Ounce for ounce the best bar you can have in your pack. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Real food ingredients that you can see, a legit meal replacement at 350+ calories or split with a friend for a snack. Won't freeze. Best of all, across the board these bars are tasty as heck first bite to last.

Big Enough for Two

I bought these ProBars for a 4 day backpacking trip in the Uinta Wilderness Forest. We had to pack everything we needed with us, as there are no facilities and our options for food were very limited otherwise. I wanted a small, nutrient and calorie packed meal so that I could carry several and know I'd have enough to sustain myself for the trip. These ProBars went beyond my expectations!… read more To start, they are FULL of calories and nutrients, especially fat (essential for extensive backpacking trips). I'm a small human (5'2 and ~105 pounds) so I don't need as many calories as the next average human, however I do like to eat. I was worried these bars may not be enough, but they filled me up so much that I would split them in half so I could have another meal for later in the day. I paired these with a small peanut butter cup (not reese's) and a 6 pack of crackers, and usually had some leftover for later. I found that I was actually too full if I finished the entire thing. These taste great too - a little chewy but otherwise I looked forward to eating these!

The BEST Bars

PRO Bars are a staple in my house, car, backpack, etc. All of the flavors are delicious and they're Non-GMO and lots are Vegan!

PB Choc Chip

Most of the flavors are delicious but the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip flavor knocks them all out of the park. I like how this bar truly tastes like you are eating a meal and sustains you for hours.

MMM MMM Good

Best tasting bar for the backcountry. Not to mention this bar is packed with caloric dense ingredients full of nutrients. No empty fillers are found in these bars. They will keep you feeling full and satisfied.

Love Probar

I always have at least one probar with me for easy refuel, these meal bars are calorically dense and pretty delicious. Can't say enough good things about them.

Recommended to everyone

A true meal replacement, super healthy, and tastes fantastic. I cannot recommend these enough (in particular the Superfood, Superfruit, and Superberry).

My favorite bar for outdoor activities

Tasty, nutritious and portable- this is the perfect bar for hiking, skiiing, or whatever else you choose to bring it along for. I really appreciate the fact that the Pro Bar is not as sweet as its competitors, which I find makes it more enjoyable to eat, especially for breakfast. It also has enough calories for a meal replacement, something that can't be said for smaller bars.

The Meal Bar is great! My partner and I both eat them whenever we need clean calories that don't taste like cardboard.

went on a backpacking trip and only had these to eat. super good and give you a lot of energy, and they don't feel heavy in your stomach. good calories and fat in them and still taste good.

Probably the best tasting meal bar I have had. These taste good, don't sit heavy in the stomach and give you plenty of energy. Can't go wrong with these.

Best Bar So Far!

These are the best! They are delicious and seem to be just about as nutritious as a bar can be. The flavors are all yummy and they taste and feel like real food because they actually are very real. They are more expensive than some other options out there, but i believe the quality of the bars justifies the price.

I love these bars from probar. The peanut butter chocolate chip flavor is literally the best meal replacement bar I've ever had. They easily fit in your pocket and really pack a punch when hunger kicks in after a long ride or hike. I highly recommend trying them.
