Great for tall people, but no grip

I purchased this mat because it was on discount and the reviews gave good ratings for comfort and grip. It's true that the mat is roomy and well-padded. As someone who's 5'9", I feel like I have plenty of space. But if you're looking for a mat with decent grip, this isn't the one. I've used it a handful of times and have already noticed that I can't hold a down-dog on this mat without… read more sliding if I have even the slightest bit of sweat on my palms. Nice mat!

This mat is super nice. First off it has enough space that you will never worry about it. You also have a lot of grip. Super nice would recommend for sure!

Love it!

Not too thick and not too thin, I like the larger size and that they aren't all one size. Durable and pretty.

Quality mat

Gave to my mom as a gift. Her requirements: space and grip. This mat seems to have both requirements and my mom initially seems pleased.

Good size and soft

I'm new to yoga so I have nothing to compare this to, but I saw other people in class with smaller mats changing angles to stay on their mat and it made me glad I ordered this one so I didn't have to worry about it.

This mat is great! Its size is just perfect and you can exercise without worrying. It worked very well every time I've used it!

Although it's advertised for taller individuals nothing wrong with snagging it if your a bit smaller. Just means you’ll get to enjoy more room! The thickness is spot on for those who don’t like to feel like they are completely on the ground. Mat stays put and looks pretty sweet in the raisin color. Practically promotes zen in itself!

I like the extra large size because it means I can claim more space in a class and I don't have the person next to me getting all up in my poses.

I finally decided to purchase my own mat after using studio mats for years, and I'm wondering why I didn't do it sooner. I finally have a mat that suits my height and is very high quality. It has made a huge difference in my classes - worrying less about coming off the mat and letting me focus more on dialing in my positions!

This is really the best quality mat for the price, and the materials and productions methods behind the construction defiantly align with a yogi philosophy.
