I am consistently frustrated and disappointed by the products offered for women in the world of outdoor technical clothing. The men's equivalent jacket has a chest pocket and the women's doesn't! For base or mid-layers, having a large chest pocket is useful and I like to keep my phone there so it doesn't get too cold, causing it to die. I live in Alaska and have to be particular… read more about what I wear. Black Diamond makes the Factor Hoody with two zip hand pockets and a zip chest pocket. This is way better and their women's jacket is a fair equivalent to the men's.
