Patagonia Nine Trails 26L Backpack - Women's reviews and deals for sale

Looking for a pack that can hold all the gear you need for a full day in the mountains, but that won't reduce you to a lumbering plank with its bulk? Well, you're in luck with the Patagonia Women's Nine Trails 26L Backpack. This pack is sized for long days trekking through the mountain, but is designed to help you stay fluid and free on the trail.

Its extended U-shaped zipper allows access to the entire main compartment at once so you don't have to pull everything out to find what you're looking for. Speaking of the main compartment, it offers enough room for lunch, layers, and a hydration reservoir. A large stretch pocket on the exterior of the pack keeps your rain shell close at hand, and multiple stash pockets keep sunscreen, lip balm, and headlamps in order. Side compression minimizes bulk, and the padded shoulder harness, adjustable sternum strap, and waist belt ensure a stable fit that won't throw you off balance. And to keep your back from getting drenched with sweat on the ascent, Patagonia equipped this pack with a mono-mesh back panel that allows excellent airflow and prevents moisture buildup.

Perfect!

I LOVE THIS PACK! It is compact, so it doesn't take up a lot of space, but still manages to fit enough stuff for a day hike or even a couple day trip, where a lot of gear isn't needed. It is comfortable on my back, doesn't put pressure on my shoulders, and is super durable. 10/10 would recommend!

Perfect all around.

I bought the 26L, I use it for my indoor rock climbing gear. I can hold 2 pairs of shoes, harness, and chalk bag in the main area and still have room left over. It has a cool almost hidden packet in the front that can hold my finger board, liquid chalk, tape and a few other things. The front stretchy pocket in the front is perfect for storing my black diamond climbing helmet as read more well. All the little adjustable straps are awesome for hanging my belay devices on as well. The waist straps and supportive back cushion is great for hiking as well. I used this back pack for everything during my Acadia National Park trip.

Bought the 18 & 26

Bought 18 & 26 becuase I couldn't live with the idea that I might have chosen the wrong forever pack. Original thought I'd be happy with the 18 as a ultra light enthusiast. Comparing them side by side, I found the 26 to be the more versatile forever pack I was looking for. Deal breaker was my nalgene barely fit in the 18 with a days worth of hiking gear in it. The 26 easily read more senches down to fit the bare minium (rain jacket, small first aid, warm jacket and a nalgene). Or I can bring my all my ultra light hiking essentails ( sea to summit hammock & towel, jet boil, water shoes or helmet, climbing harness and shoes plus plently of food and drinks for a long day in the back country. I'd bet I could even camp out of the 26 if I went ultra light. My opinion, buy the right pack for multiple uses instead of buying one for every use. The pack itself is really comfy. II could see where some would complain about the straps being too close but it doesnt bother me. I feel like it has the right amount of support and the pockets are great. I'd highly recommend one of these packs as they are great!
