Very comfy and warm - can’t go wrong with Patagonia. I’ve officially become a puffy vest guy! Didn’t think I had it in me.

Wear It Everywhere When It's Cold

This is my second Nano Puff Vest. The first is still serviceable but looking a bit ragged. It is a go to piece of gear for me. It wears well, packs and travels well, and keeps me warm. I wear this under a shell in the Spring and Fall, with medium weight coats and even suit jackets during the Winter here in Western PA. Go to vest come fall and winter

Just like the jacket, the nanopuff vest is warm and very light. Nice fit and just love it. Have in blue and yellow.

Size matters NOT true to size

Patagonia needs to get its stuff straight on sizing or make it clear this is cut to be snug. I am a rock solid Medium in most decent quality clothing including outdoor gear. I ordered the medium. At the points of the shoulders it sits just right. The fit is slim: I can wear a shirt but not much more, under it. A sweatshirt definitely not. Backcountry was awesome and let me order both to make sure I chose the better (not the ideal, not the best, but the better) fitting one. So, know what you are ordering.

Great for layering or for a cool fall or spring day! Love this vest so much I got my father one! He loves it and so will you. Fits very true to size!

The do-it-all vest!

All around awesome down vest from Patagonia. The Nano Puff looks good enough to be worn casually yet high performance enough to be an effective mid layer on those cold days on the mountain.

Every day wear

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas, and he's worn it almost every day since then. He wears it skiing, hiking, or around town. It fits well, looks nice, and keeps him warm.

Can't go wrong with Patagonia

Stylish, functional, and packable. The nano puff vest is a classic and must have! I love the fit of the medium, but wish it was about an inch longer as most other shirts are a touch longer than the nano puff vest. Overall I am stoked on this vest and have been wearing it daily all winter!

Refuse to not have

I am on my third vest from some unintended carelessness but I love this layer so much I continue to come back to it. It is easily portable and often times provides enough warmth that I don't need to bring anything else when walking to work every day. I do think the large can run a wee bit baggy but I think a medium would be too small. Overall though, very happy with the fit.

Great vest! I use it under my ski jacket or just casual and it keeps me warm. it's pretty lite but don't let that fool you. A must have for those who love Patagonia.

Classic vest, superior warmth

There's a reason why you see so many of these vest outside. They are very warm, light weight, and look great. The perfect outer layer for cooler fall and spring days and works great under ski shells or on those cold winter runs without restricting range of motion. You cannot go wrong with this classic patagonia staple.

Great on its own or for layering!

I got this for my dad for a present and he loves it - it is one of his favorite pieces of clothing he owns! He likes that he can wear it on its own to run out to the store on warmer days or can wear it as a layer for skiing on cold Vermont days! Since it is warm but thin it is not too bulky under his ski coat with other layers, which is hard to find in a "puff" vest!

Best vest ever!

Let me just say that I am a vest guy and this thing rocks. From snowmobiling to skiing to on the town, this does it all. So light, yet super warm. Thanks Patagonia!

Very light but warm!

Doesn't sacrifice warmth for being light & portable. Easy to layer!

Great vest!

When I first got the vest i noticed it fits a little large, I got a medium and it fits very well with a hoodie under neither. From what I can tell it built very well and I don’t notice any immediate weak points.

Really Stoked on this vest

Patagonia is easily my favorite brand on Backcountry, and this vest is super rad. Light weight but also nice and toasty. A perfect extra layer for cooler hiking conditions.

Couldn’t get a good fit

Really love the look and feel of this vest. Unfortunately I am between sizes with Patagonia and couldn’t make either the medium or large work. 33” waist, the medium was skin tight with a T-shirt and the large had an extra 3” on the waist. Had to return this and am looking for a better option. Hopefully they redesign in the future for a better fit for us in the middle folks.

A Trusty Layer

Bought this for skiing as an additional layer on cold days. Now I use it for everything. It packs down into it's own chest pocket making it easy to bring along everywhere. I throw it in my day pack for hikes, climbing, or even just bumming around the city. It's a little extra warmth where ever you go. I fit into a small but prefer a more relaxed fit so I picked up the medium.

Layer Friendly

I love this vest it is very layer friendly. I put in under jackets for colder days or alone when the sun is out. Super functional, light weight and packs up small.

Is the navy and paintbrush red color a true red? It looks orange in the picture.
