February 28, 2019Great Baselayers
I have worn these in many different conditions and absolutely love the baselayers. The not only keep me warm, but dry as well when i'm touring and start to sweat a little.

February 28, 2019Awesome Base Layer
These have a distinctly different feel from other base layers I have worn. They have more of a knit 3D structure than most base layers I have tried. The other thing you will notice immediately is how light weight they are, they feel about half the weight of my smartwool bottoms . Despite that, they are very comfortable and feel very warm under a pair of pants. The fit is more… read more relaxed than your typical skintight baselayer, but I have not had any trouble wearing them under tighter pants, and I think this also contributes to their warmth.

February 18, 2019Comfy, warm, but not practical
I was very excited about these. They are warm, comfy, and have a nice stretch, that makes movement easy. BUT... The first thing is NO FLY. Why? What did Patagonia take out the fly? This is very inconvenient when wearing regular pants over them, never mind wearing ski pants or a harness. It’s just not functional. There’s nothing like pissing all over your nice ski pants because… read more your long underwear doesn’t have a fly, and the elastic waistband is pinching your stream into a fire hose: Come on! The second reason I give these 1 star is: they are already wearing out. Holes are forming in the croci after a month of use. For $130.00 these better last a couple of seasons, not 1 month. I really wanted to love these and make them my go to thermals, but it’s just not affordable or functional. Patagonia is suppose to be better than this. I am so disappointed.

January 2, 2019My Go -To For My Bottom Base Layer
I have absolutely loved the Capilene Air bottoms this season. It has been 10 below for much of the winter here in the Wasatch, and these base layers have absolutely performed during my chilly ski tours. They are amazing at keeping my lower half the perfect temperature. They've never felt swampy, and I've yet to feel cold while wearing them.
