Outdoor Research Lucent Heated Sensor Mitten reviews and deals for sale

Go from being the first one into the lodge for a warm-up session to being the last one on hill in the Outdoor Research Lucent Heated Mitten. Built with an AltiHeat rechargeable battery-powered heating system, the Lucent mittens turn those ice-cold, white, painful fingers into warm, toasty, nimble ones. Different colors act as heat indicators for the different settings (red for warmest, yellow mid-warm, green low-warm), and they work with one simple button.

In addition to powered heat, EnduraLoft insulation provides natural warmth and protection while a Gore-Tex insert delivers waterproof protection against wet conditions. A fleece palm lining provides interior comfort, abrasion-resistant goat leather palm strips offer durability, and molded EVA on the back of the hand gives impact protection.

Only One Side Heats and Thumbs Did Not

I walk for about two hours at first light every morning here in SW Colorado. Needless to say, I need a warm product. Why these, particularly for the price, and others like the Snow Deer I purchased on Amazon for $129, only heat one side of the hand is beyond me. I turned the setting on high to compensate not only for the one-sided warmth but also, the cold spots on both thumbs and read more the side of my hand. No, the mitten was not too big; I am a 7 and ordered an XS which was the right size. Granted, Unisex is never ideal unless you're a male making the purchase. I'm going to try Volt's Women's Avalanche X which unfortunately I can't purchase from Backcountry as I think their service and products are great. But Hallelujah for women's specific sizes!

frustration

I have two pairs of outdoor research and two black diamond heated gloves and mittens, Though I hate mittens at least when the battery does not work I still have warm fingers. The recurring problem with any of these is the wirings and the batteries . Though the mittens are great when they work already this year I have gone through 3 batteries in 3 months as the connections break. read more Pretty expensive

Great customer service

Though the gloves worked well for 3 years, they then stopped working. Called customer service and they are sending me a new pair. Can’t beat that!!

I own two of these that I bought from Amazon. The Amazon Icebreaker Tech Lite Short Sleeve Crew that's 87% Wool/13% Nylon says it's an updated fit. Yours says slim fit. Is this the same shirt? I'd hate to buy two of them from you and they not fit like the
