I've got the older digital camo model with the three pockets on the outside. I've taken this on saltwater and Northern Pike trips where weight is a factor and you need to be sparing about what you take on a float plane trip. Great size where I can put in 3-6 rods, 3-6 reels, and plenty of extra lines, tippet, and fly boxes. The longer rod section allows for 4-piece rods, the separate… read more pockets allow for reels and fly boxes, and the zippered pockets allow for travel documents and tippet/leader packs. Well designed and constructed. I've tried to carry on to a few commercial planes and end up having to check at the gate so not recommended as a solo fly fishing luggage piece but definitely recommended if you want a convenient car case or will be making day trip float plane runs to distant waters.

I like this case. The inner system is awesome. plenty of room and versatility with the detachable velcro walls to make different organizational styles. SOOOO... the only negative thing that Im super dissapointed about is on mine did not come with the three outside pockets that the picture and description promised. I ordered the olive color. Do not know if I got an older model… read more or if its false advertising. Either way super bummed about it.

This case is awesome, plenty of room to hold all your expensive fly reels and rods. So they do not get damaged or lost. It's perfect to pack along on any fishing adventure.
