An aggressive pedal but squeeky

Everything I hoped for--my foot stays well planted on the screws. But with longer, slacker, lower bikes there are more pedal strikes. Wait until the screws grab a root and nearly take you down. I guess I shouldn't blame the pedals but it's very exciting every time this happens. Now that I think about it perhaps I'll remover the outer screws... Started squeeking around Week read more 2 so had to take care of that. Purple color above is pretty faithful.

I have 700 miles on these Pedals.

I bought these pedals with my new Yeti SB6. I live in Austin Texas. Lost of rock and technical riding. I have put 700 miles of abuse on these pedals numerous rock strikes, tree strikes, etc. I have on crashed a half dozen times usually in the cheese grater rock gardens that seem to frequent many of the trails I ride. I have not had to service these pedal yet, they work perfectly read more 100% traction on the sole of you shoe at all times. Easy to find when you take your foot off to dab or take a tight corner. Light and they don't break and the pedal spindle doesn't bend and give you the wonky feel when you pedal. I have had pedal strikes that were so hard they moved the bike over a foot with no ill side effects to the pedals. I bought these because why not at $49? My though was pedal get trashed so I'll just buy another set when they break. So far they are still working great no problems what so ever. I would buy these pedal again in a heartbeat. Best pedals I have used to date.

Great grip

I’m using these with Freerider Pros, and the grip is excellent. I prefer the slightly larger platform over my Chesters. The only negative is I’ve had to disassemble and grease both pedals after a couple months while my Chesters have been silent for years.

Color is off

The green is more of regular almost forest green. Much different than the pictures. Also dirty inside. ? Not sure why. Returning

Great Deal

I had pretty low expectations for these pedals since they were only $49 at the time I purchased. However, they have a ton of grip, the size is on point (I wear a size 9 shoe), they are very light, and spin just fine. The screws are quite sharp, so you don't want to catch these in the shin! I did have to tighten a few screws with a hex key as some weren't 100% tight upon arrival, read more by that's a small complaint.

Not cheap, inexpensive

Riding up in the PNW you gotta get up before you get down. Most of the time it’s wet as well. These pedals have been great. They have a lower profile than my last ones which were almost 3x more expensive, which means I get less pedal strikes. The ten pins per side don’t let my feet go anywhere. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a new pedal. Believe the read more hype.

Exactly what i needed

Not only does the color stand out well, the grip is outstanding. I've had a few rock strikes and they are holding up well. I love how wide the platform is and the support is strong.

All grip and no slip

I've had these on my bike for about 2 years and they've never let me down! They have encountered numerous rock strikes and only suffered a bent pin or two while still looking great and functioning like they did out of the box. The grip is great with normal shoes but pair them with a good cycling shoe and it's unreal. I was skeptical of these at this price point but am now a firm read more believer. The color options are awesome too. I am rockin the orange on my Nomad and love the look!

Tremendous amount of grip

I ordered these for a park bike once I switched to flats. I had HT flats on my everyday bike, but the bearings in the HT’s failed on me and had to put these on it. More grip than the HT’s, and a slightly larger platform. The color I ordered didn’t go with the scheme I was going for, but it might be the direction I go now! I am very pleased with the bad boys.

Great Pedal

I love these pedals. Lightweight, durable, and very sticky. Reviews that said it almost feels like being clipped in were right on. I keep thinking I will go back to my clips, but I am loving these pedals too much so I’ve been using these for all my riding.

Simple and Stadard for a Reason

These pedals are a standout in the industry, compared to basically every pedal ive seen on the market right now these are very well reviewed convex shape at an unbeatable price that you can find information on through courtliness youtube videos and websites. I saved a bit of coin for the apres espresso's and i love the look of these compared to other options. These are grippy but read more not so sharp that they will tare up your flip flops on casual rides to the store. Quick gear tip, you can pull out the pins in the middle of the pedal to reduce a pressure point on the ball/midfoot.

Great Pedals

Put these pedals on my new bike and I love them so far. They are super grippy with my new five ten shoes.

best plastic pedals you'll find

Easily my favorite composite pedals. Long pins, plenty of grip. Wide platform for bigger feet. Bearing haven't showed and slowing down in 6 months of riding

Solid Flat Pedal

These are a great pedal option if you are on a budget. Really thin for a composite pedal, while still giving you all the stiffness and grip you would need. Pair these with a good biking shoe like a five ten and you almost won't notice a difference from a clipless pedal.

Perfect

Been biking a bunch last few years. These are everything you need. We have own a dozen plus sets of pedals and i think this is the best all around before they get crazy pricey. We have the Aluminum version too.

Is this one pedal or a pair? It's not clear to me.

Looking for a pedal to put on my road bike to turn it into more of a commuter (I currently have Shimano spd ultegra pedals). My bike is a carbon frame—would these be be a good option or is there another more lightweight option you’d recommend? Basically wanting an around-town bike since I don’t race anymore, without actually buying a new bike altogether haha.
