To keep the foot cool and breathing on longer runs, the sandwich mesh provides support where needed while still offering maximum breathability. To aid with support, an injected TPU heel counter works with the precision-molded 3D heel to enable a secure, stable fit and ride.

I own other models from this brand but this has to be the worst! It’s described as having a lot of cushioning, but it only actually applies to around the sides of the foot. The soles are much thinner than other models from this brand, and the bottom rubber square things are very thin at the front of the foot. It provides no support at all and tired my legs and feet easily. I’d… read more use these for walking but definitely not running on pavement.

December 19, 2019Agree with other reviewer except...
All is true about lightweight and comfortable. Also super good looking shoe. The other reviewer had worn hers two months though...let’s hear back in another ten. The soles started ripping off between month 7-8 but I kept running in them anyway until they just totally fell apart and believe me, I’m no ultra runner. Even the fabric began ripping on both shoes, both sides, same… read more spot. $200 shoe? No way.

November 27, 2018Wow.... at first
Here is my edited review after having them for well over a year: I had to change my rating down to 2 stars from 5! I am so disappointed about how these shoes hold up. For a $200 pair of shoes I expect them to last longer. I got one good running season out of them. A running season for me is spring-summer-fall with about 45 miles per week. If you're fine replacing your shoes every… read more season, I absolutely would recommend these because yes, they're amazing, lightweight, etc. But for the price, and how well they hold up, I just can't buy them again. The area of the shoes by the toe bed is completely falling apart. You can see my pinky toes through the shoe. The foot bed is also starting to separate from the sole. After last fall, I stopped running in them and use them for daily work shoes. Once they start falling apart, they go quickly. You'll have a tiny hole, then before you know it there's your whole sock showing through. What a mess. Rocks are also an issue! I run mostly on paved pathways and rocks get stuck in the soles sometimes and you can hear the rock scraping along until you wedge it out. Nothing less fun than stopping, getting a stick to shove into the sole to dislodge a rock in the middle of your run! I loved them for a season, but for the value I don't think this shoe is worth it. You could maybe get away with saving them for races only to make them last longer but then that puts you at a disadvantage of not being familiar with your race shoe. If you want to spend the money, I say go for it, but these shoes really should have lasted longer.
