Oakley Field Jacket Prizm Sunglasses reviews and deals for sale

The Oakley Field Jacket Prizm Sunglasses offer excellent clarity, lightweight comfort, and a wide field of vision whether you're trail running, cycling down the open road, or tearing up trails on your mountain bike. One of the hallmarks of the Field Jacket is Advancer technology, which is a nosebridge piece that blocks out light from sneaking in the sides, while allowing airflow to combat fogging and overheating. Plutonite lenses are lightweight and offer undistorted vision, and Prizm technology delivers stunning color and contrast to make your view pop. Side contours maximize peripheral field of view so you can spot passing cars and other riders. Whether you're using pedal power or propelling yourself with your own two legs, count on the Field Jacket to keep up.

Great look...great for road cycling!

So, I crashed! Big Time! Was choppered to a major hospital. I'm fine now...however, I seem to remember someone returning these NEW glasses to my hospital room while I was in ICU. Can't find 'em. Here's how great they are...I ordered another pair! Wish there was some discount or replacement policy. Buy these Flack Jackets...you won't be sorry! Plus, you'll look fantastic! read more

Trails in technicolor

I just picked up a pair of these in the grey/celeste with the prizm trail lens. After using Prizm skiing the last 4-5 seasons I knew thats whats up. When I saw they had a trail lens I was sold. Tried them out today on the trail and have some initial impressions. The frames themselves are pretty dope in so many ways. The frames first and foremost are incredibly light coming read more in @ 1.1 ounces or 31.2 grams (according to my small scale). The nose piece is super grippy keeping those frames on the bridge of my nose for a 2.5 hour ride without one adjustment that I can remember. It was hot out so I was sweating bullets, but no movement. Obviously the new Advancer nosebridge system allows you to vent your sunglasses without taking them off and still blocking sunlight. The arms are replaceable like most of Oakley products. The arms have super grips that keep them in place and are low profile allowing you to easily wear with most headwear and helmets. I paired these with a Troy Lee Designs A2 mips helmet and the were seamless. Of course the Prizm lenses are bomb. They enhance your ability to see every detail on the trail, unlike most sunglasses that mute all the details. Just sitting in my house, my kitchen is clearer than without them. Aside from this they come with the microfiber case and a hard case for travel. Now I have small head that is pretty narrow for a guy and usually need smaller framed glasses to fit my face With these they say medium to large heads, but I found these to work great for me. They are snug a ways behind my temples and have a little bit of a gap on the corners, but I feel they vented better than any of the smaller frame glasses I have purchased in the past. Obviously this is a personal preference type of thing but if you have a smaller head I would at least check them out to see what you think because they worked great for me.

The Science is Real

For years I have opted for clear lenses or nothing at all in densely covered areas due to shadows not allowing me to see and process the trail properly. The prism lenses not only allow me to wear eye protection, but they actually increase my vision compared to wearing nothing at all. They are comfortable enough I forget they're on my face and the defogging switch works likes a read more champ. I would highly recommend these to any trail rider looking for comfortable protection and increased terrain awareness. These lenses make it obvious Oakley put tons of R&D in light filtration and enhancement.
