I have been borrowing friends' paco pads for years and finally decided to get my own. I have tried several different pads and Jack's Plastic Welding makes the best for river trips and all car/ river camping except for backpacking (too heavy/ big for that).

Super comfy pad. I debated getting the thicker Paco Pad that has softer foam. Glad I went this route instead. Good combination of thickness and firmness. I just picked up another one for my husband. Expensive? yeah totally worth it? hell yeah. These things are a must have for multi day river trips. Strap them over your cooler for a nice two person seat, sleep on it at night and wake up without a kink in your back.
