NRS Paddle Wetshoe - Men's reviews and deals for sale
NRS designed its Men's Paddle Shoes to be warm, comfortable, and convenient for all types of boaters. The Terraprene neoprene upper utilizes a titanium laminate that keeps your foot warm and dry all day long, and the fleecy VaporLoft lining repels moisture and dries in an instant to keep your foot nice and comfy. The side zipper entry easily fits over wetsocks, drysuit socks, or bare feet for ultimate versatility. A 5mm neoprene insole provides the support you need to paddle comfortably all day, and the rubber sole wraps around your heel and toe for protection to provide the traction you need to walk confidently on slippery stones. NRS added a plastic shim, stabilizing bands, and padding in key areas to protect your foot and improve lateral stability for long-lasting protection and comfort.

March 1, 2020Joy to wear
These shoes are phenomenal and have kept my feet from getting eaten up by the jagged bottoms on New river and Smoke hole in WV. The shoes also were nice for a few cold weather trips to run the Cuyahoga falls. The shoes tread pattern feels great on the foot braces and does not slip under load. The shoes clean up really well and have not held smell like some of my other paddling… read more shoes and neoprene spray skirts.

May 31, 2019These don't keep your feet dry at all
I put these on and they took in water as soon as I stepped in the river - I guess this is why NRS calls them a "Wetshoe" - sending them back. Don't waste your time if you are expecting dry feet.

November 5, 2018Great river shoe
Bought these for kayaking and they work fantastic. Very comfortable for all day wear and the soles are thick enough to walk on rocks and gravel. I pair them with neoprene socks.

April 21, 2017Good paddle shoe
I ordered these in size 9, they are true to size and fit perfectly. They are a pretty tight fit to get on but that is ideal because once they are on they are tight enough to keep water out of the top while still being comfortable. The zipper has a strap at the top to secure it at the top of the shoe (closed) but even without it the zipper stays in place for me so far. I have used… read more them for paddle boarding and kayaking in cooler conditions and they work well for both. They are very flexible, comfortable, and useful for grip but also during transfers in and out of the water. The rubber sole is thin enough to provide a good feel on boards, but thick enough to provide reasonable protection from rocks or sticks in and out of the water. Bottom line- definitely recommend these for anyone needing a solid durable wet shoe. Backcountry is great with shipping speed and customer service so the combination is hard to beat.

These wet shoes are comfy and solid. they seem to run a tiny bit small. Maybe they will stretch out a bit. Maybe consider sizing up.

June 1, 2016Comfy and Super Warm
I found these to fit true to size in a size 9. They are very high quality, soft on the interior, grippy and warm. I'm not sure what more to ask for. I was really happy rafting in cool conditions for 3 days with these on. Highly recommended.

January 22, 2016Perfect paddle and wading shoe
I use these over my Hydrus 3L SuperNova Angler Paddling Suit and they work great. They are very comfortable and don't slip or come off when hauling the kayak around. A friend of mine uses them with his waders as wading boots.
