NRS Canine Flotation Device reviews and deals for sale
Although dogs are natural-born swimmers, open stretches of water and fast-moving rivers pose problems to our four-legged friends. Lend your favorite pooch extra buoyancy during float trips, SUP sessions, and boat rides with the NRS Canine Floatation Device. The Canine Floatation Device features 2.7 to 7.9-pounds of buoyancy (depending on the size) to reduce your dog's fatigue in the water. Three adjustable straps along the waist and neck provide a secure fit, with quick-clipping buckles for easy on and off. The top grab handle makes easy work of pulling your dog onto your raft, boat, or paddleboard. Additionally, the vest sports reflective tape for enhanced visibilty in the water, and it features a zippered stash pocket for storing dog treats and other pooch-friendly accessories.

Dog probably doesn't need this but it is great piece of mind. Fits the dog well and he doesn't seem to mind it, so we'll keep on using it. The handle and pocket are great bonus features.

July 23, 2018Toxic plastic unsafe
I was surprised when I recieved my CFD to find it was made with a toxic plastic that California says causes cancer. I wish the warning was on the website and not just on the vest. I returned immidately without using it and only recieved a partial refund. Shame on NRS and shame on backcountry for not being more transparent. November 20, 2017My dog has a handle now!
We have a healer mix that is way too amped to stay in the boat. She ends up flopping out into the riv a couple times a day. While the flotation works great, it's really the fact that she now has a handle on her back that makes this thing great. She also looks cool, which is nice.
