Bulletproof

My snow peak ti pots get burn marks all over the bottom after a few uses. This pot has no burns on it at all, looks brand new and I have been using it as my everyday tea kettle at home. I got this pot so that I could pair it with a Caldera Cone alcohol stove which I got from peak designs. The whole stove set up including denatured alcohol fuel weighs next to nothing. Best and lightest read more stove setup imaginable. You can get the caldera come alcohol stove from www.traildesigns.com for less than $20. Been using jetboil and msr stoves for years, once I tried out an alcohol stove I will never go back. Not only does it save weight but it cooks better. MSR makes some bomber pots that cost less and are better than Snow Peak.

Light and sufficient for 1-2 people.

Was a bit skeptical of this set initially as it was a fair downsize from my previous aluminium set, but the weight was really selling me. Once I got them, I was completely assured. The size is just enough for a 2 person pasta/noodle meal in the larger pot, which was my main requirement. The set is ridiculously light (which it should be at this price), but I have also been really read more impressed with the non stick properties. I rarely have food stick and its always easy to clean in the event that it does. I manage to fit my stove (pocketrocket), gripper (included), swiss army knife, piezo, and primus windshield all inside this set closing easily. Comes with a nice storage sac as well to keep it tidy and together in a pac. Has seen a fair bit of use so far and its still like new. It is fairly susceptible to small dings, but not a big deal. If you're doing miles with this thing in your pack, or elevation for that matter, then its well worth the price.

So light!

These pots are incredibly light. When you get to the point that every ounce matters, this is one piece of gear that I was easily able to justify the investment. I've used them on 7 trips so far and they have not scratched or dented at all. I have some issues with food sticking, but I just scrub a little sand in there and let them soak and they're good to go. Overall, I'm in love.
