Its great, but not perfect

I have the small version of this board which is thinner (lighter), but almost so small I cant cut my normal stuff on it, which is why I got this one, but its so thick and heavy, it has a really hard time staying open, when I put it down, it bows up rather than laying flat. the food im cutting is so light it doesnt hold it down so I have to hold it, which makes me go back to the read more other one and just have stuff hanging off the side. It's a good board, but that one thing is so annoying I really wouldn't recommend it sadly.

Light Cutting Board

Don't go on a camping trip without this gem, can also be used as a plate or cheese-board of sorts.

Love it

Durable and lightweight. Great addition to any backcountry chefs arsenal. Best part is it folds in half.

MSR Deluxe Cutting Board - 5 stars!

This MSR cutting board is the first cutting board we've tried backingpacking with and we love it! Lightweight and durable, the ability to fold it in half not only helps with reducing size in our packs, but it works out pretty nicely if you're preparing different food and don't want to cut on the same board.

simple and easy

Used this a couple times and already love it. I like that it folds in half so I don't contaminate my other kitchen items with smells(garlic, onion, etc.)

Gets the Job Done

I wouldn't call this cutting board cutting edge, but it gets the job done. The fold in it is more awkward than I hoped, making cutting food a little difficult at times. However it is convenient that it packs up small and light.

Great Cutting Board

Purchased this for cooking while I'm car camping. It gets the job done. It's not the sturdiest, but I'm OK sacrificing that for the convenience of how light weight and compact it is.

Nifty little diddy

This is super handy to have camping. You can cut veggies on it, keep your coffee spoons off the ground/dirty picnic table with it, and then fold it right back up and be on your way. If I was going for a lightweight / tough hike adventure, I'd probably leave this at home. Its definitely not a necessity, just really handy.

Does the job.

This is a handy piece of equipment for anyone who has eaten way too much ramen and chooses to cook real food now. Light, small, and convienent. The only thing worth noting is that when unfolded it does not remain perfectly flat; so if you cut up your garlic into tiny pieces and then pick your hand up off the board it will bend towards is folded shape and you may loose some garlic read more to the chipmunks.

Much better than the regular alpine

This is a much better improvement over the regular alpine cutting board. It is rigid and folds down to a smaller size. The old one was flexible and rolled so after a while it wanted to hold the rolled shape.

Nice

I have a smaller cutting board that I used to use but it was a joke. It was too small to be practical. This is a great size for backpacking or just keeping with your car camping gear.

Good size

It's a cutting board so it's not the most complicated piece of equipment you'll have. It does it's job and is a good size to actually be useful without taking up too much space.
