Weight - 10 Size - 10 Usability - 10 Why go for a titanium one, when this one folds? The folding is so nice, fits in small pocket, and is plastic so super light. Once you fold a fork, you never go back. Only con, is the fork part is slightly shallow? So you cant fork like 10 noodles at a time, but if you could, it would be more fork than spoon.

April 1, 2019Convenient Carry
These are great utensils that pack up small for easy storage. They're fairly sturdy, and seem durable so far. Perfect for on the go eating or camping. Bonus points for making it easy to match them to your kit.

November 20, 2018Works Great
Perfect for backpacking. Lightweight, seems pretty durable, and hardly takes up any room in the pack.

October 15, 2018packs small, digs deep--winner
These MSR utensils are great. Basically unbreakable under normal (which is to say harsh) use. And by folding, will go in small places (I keep a folded unit on top of my MSR kettle in a cuban fiber pouch) and when extended--provides the length to get to the bottom of an rehydrated food pouch. Only downside is friends and family keep pinching mine--which speaks to the utility of… read more these things.

September 18, 2018Long handle = perfect for pouch meals!
The perfect lightweight spork for eating straight out of the Mountain House pouch at basecamp! Easy to clean, long handled, and looks like it'll hold up to years of abuse.

September 6, 2018Sweet Utensils
Perfect for keeping handy in your book bag or everyday carry. I love 'em for backpacking - very simple and lightweight and perfect for those types of meals. They are just long enough to eat out of tall backpacker meal packages as well.

August 1, 2018Light and Compact
I love how MSR shaved weight by taking out material on the handle. The spork is still sturdy considering this aspect. Also, the ability to fold makes an awkwardly shaped object much easier to pack!

July 20, 2018It works
It's light, it's cheap, it's a spork.

April 26, 2018Take Them EVERYWHERE
Who says you need to use these for just backpacking and car camping? They're the perfect solution to eating any meal outside of your kitchen. Not only do they fold up to take up less space, but they're long enough to get to the bottom of your backpacking meals. For $4 you can't go wrong. Perfect for kids lunch boxes (and adults, too)...save some plastic and reuse!

October 1, 2017So Simple
These Folding Utensils by MSR are the ticket. They fold down super small, and even lock into place when they are either folded or open. To me that's an awesome value for $4! Can be easily tossed into any type of pack, and are a necessity for camping and backpacking for me!

May 30, 2017Lightweight and easy to use
I own one of each utensil and love them all. They're very lightweight, reasonably-durable, and easy to use. You get exactly what you expect from MSR.

April 1, 2017Light, compact, but flimsy
Despite being flimsy I think this is a good, useful spork. When i say flimsy, that has nothing to do with the functionality of the spork. When used normally this spork will last and last. I wouldn't expect it to hold up if it was accidentally sat or stepped on. It is light and it does fold up to a nice, small size. It works well to eat with. The quality isn't the highest, but the… read more price is certainly right.

February 5, 2017Functional
Very light, foldable, great for backpacking. Seems a little flimsy, especially folding it back in half. I'm a little skeptical of the long-term reliability of it, but should prove robust for periodic use.

January 19, 2017Easy, strong and convenient!
They collapse easily, super lightweight, and they don't inconveniently collapse when you don't want them to. The utensils could be a little longer, but then they'd also take up more room and be a little heavier. Great buy for something that will last!

October 31, 2016Very useful
Folds with a nice snap action for portability, yet unfolded it is long enough to get to the bottom of the Mountain House bag, and the snap feature keeps it from unexpectedly folding and dumping your meal. Nice and short to fit in my cook kit with the stove and fuel bottle. Got the red handle so it is easy to find. I got both the spoon and fork, since I'm not much of a "spork"… read more guy. Would recomend this to friends.

September 2, 2016Great Utensils
Perfect for hiking, camping, or lunches on the go! I have had a set of 4 of these utensils for the last few years and recently decided to add to the collection. I use them daily for my work lunches and like that they fold up and can be tucked away into my food containers after lunch. They are very sturdy and don't bend when I'm eating harder foods. I highly recommend them!

August 9, 2016light and useful
The folding spork has proved to be easy to pack and durable during a six day bike packing trip from Canada to Montana. Once unfolded, this spork is long enough to reach into dehydrated food bags.
