Mercury Wheels X1 Carbon Enduro 27.5in Boost Wheelset reviews and deals for sale

Mercury Wheels, out of Ogden, Utah, brings their patent-pending, wonder material known as Fiber-X to their X1 Carbon Enduro 27.5in Boost Wheelset. The award-winning material is an advanced composite creation with greater tensile strength than even high-modulus carbon fiber while upping the durability and impact resistance, making it a fully-capable wheelset for enduro and all-mountain trails. And Mercury Wheels accomplishes all of that within a very competitive weight of 1670 grams in a center-lock disc brake design.

Mercury chooses a trapezoidal profile for the rim shape to increase strength and help dissipate energy from relentless trail bashing. The offset spoke holes are reinforced with a triple-butted manufacturing process and laced with Sapim Race spokes to a performance Mercury Axis hub with 3.5-degrees of engagement for reliable drivetrain connection without the need for excessive service intervals.

The rim bed on the X1 is offset as well and uses hookless beads for mounting clincher or tubeless tires, and has an inner width of 30mm to house your go-to tire for any rowdy enduro course on your bucket list.
