Attn: Sweaty People

I've been wanting a yoga towel mat for hot yoga for quite some time and this towel does not disappoint. It sticks well to my yoga mat during an active flow and it is not slippery. I can transition from pose to pose on it without it bunching up on top of my mat. Despite how much I sweat on it, it does not smell or become damp. It is super quick dry and soft. Using this makes a huge read more difference in hot yoga and you will not be disappointed!

Can't do Hot Yoga Without!

My go-to towel for all my hot yoga classes. I can sweat all class and still wipe down afterwards without the towel being soaking wet. Also, the towel doesn't slip much which is great. I will also take this backpacking with me because it is light and packable! Super versatile.

My favorite towel

Review from Keri Schneider: I love these towels. They’re great for practicing on, or for using rolled up as a prop, or for keeping warm in a long savasana. Or for using as a travel towel on a trip. This time I ordered the midnight color and it’s a beautiful deep blue and so soft.

unneeded with Manduka mat

I bought this anticipating I'd use it for hot yoga, but the mat is so incredibly grippy, I don't really need the towel, too. It's alright, just extra.

Best yet

Depending on how much you sweat you are more than likely going to slip when doing hot yoga. This may really helps with my issues slipping. Though it hasn’t fixed my poor form while practicing yoga, it does stop me from falling over. The key to hot yoga is telling yourself over and over that you are not going to die. Hot yoga is hard enough without having to deal with slipping read more all over the place. If you are looking up a new towel then you probably need one and should just buy it.

Stop slippin' and start stickin'

Is your triangle pose becoming more of a floor split in hot yoga? Stop slippin' and start stickin' with this towel. It doesn't move around on the mat and neither will you. Easy to wash and just what I needed to keep from falling on my face during down dog when my hands/feet are sweaty AF.

Equa vs. Equa Hold

These towels are the best. I prefer them over my Manduka Yogitoes as they feel softer to me. Mind you, the towel does need to be slightly damp to create a grip. If you don't sweat quickly like me, you can spray a little water on it where your feet and hands go and you'll be good. For some reason, we have the Equa Hold mixed in with the basic equa towels on this page. The Equa read more Hold has little rubber nubbins on the bottom to help keep them in place. They are very similar to Yogitoes but I think superior as they are smaller and you don't feel them under your feet as much. The Equa hold comes in the Binda and Veradero colors and are priced at $52 (a great price when compare to Yogitoes).

Let Me Tell You About This Towel..

Sooooooo great for hot yoga. Its doesn't move around at all on my mat, which is such an upgrade from using a standard towel for so long ha. Cleans real easy and doesn't drop in quality after a few washes. Great pick up!

PERFECT for hot yoga!

This towel is amazing! i have to alternate through a few that i have throughout the week, and this is by far my favorite. It is sweat activated and helps me hold my poses longer without having to mess with the silly towel. I highly recommend it! Especially for the price point.

No more slipping

Excellent towel for hot yoga. After a couple water spritzes on my towel it sticks to my mat and doesn't budge. Even if I'm not in a hot yoga class i'll still take it with me to regular flows so I can wipe away any extra sweatiness

Stop being a sweaty mess and just flow!

These simple towels have made such a huge difference in the quality of my hot yoga sessions. I am someone who already sweats considerably during exercise, and when you add 100+ temps, well let's just say the results are detoxifying.. Haha, These mat towels soak up sweat like a sieve and just get gripper while doing so. Some people like to lightly mist their mats with water before read more laying the towel down to "activate" this property, but I find that I sweat enough in the first 5 minutes to make this happen. I can generally get 2 practices on a towel before washing, anything more than that and it starts to stink pretty bad, so I have a few that I rotate throughout the week. You may get more practices per wash if your someone who doesn't sweat like a pig at the butcher shop like me. It's time to step up your flow up, you don't have to slip and slide around in your Downward dog or Warrior 2 any longer. Namaste

always at the end of my mat

I always keep this at the end of my mat. I use it to get comfortable at different times, I use it as a towel, and to sit on. I love the pair of this, my mat, and my block. works so great!

Difference Maker

This towel makes all the difference when I practice warm yoga and find myself dripping with sweat. Be sure to spray the towel with water once it has been laid on top of your mat so it sticks to the mat and actually provides extra grip. If it's left dry, you'll probably find yourself slipping around in downward dog until you've sweat enough to soak your towel, so just do yourself read more a favor and spray it with water before using!

Best Yoga Towel Out There!

I have used this towel for 3 years, 3-5 times per week, and it is the best. End of story. Super grippy (which according to Dictionary.com means "afflicted with the grippe") when it gets slightly damp, and retains that grippiness (which according to Dictionary.com is just plain not a word) even after an hour-long 102 degree 90% humidity class. Super durable, awesome colors, and read more just as effective as any of the other more expensive mat towels out there.

Nothing stops this towel

I do hot yoga mostly and this towel absorbs everything! your mat is hardly wet at all when you are done. This towel also doesn't stink much either, so (this may be gross to some) this towel can go a couple uses not more than 3 I would say, without washing and it won't stink too badly. You will want to pour or squirt water on the front and back of the towel so you have traction in read more your warrior poses so you don't slide too much. But if not you just get more muscle toning trying not to slip :)
