Kokatat Idol Gore-Tex Dry Suit - Men's reviews and deals for sale

With an insatiable desire to consistently offer the best drysuit on the market, Kokotat took it one step further by teaming up with Gore-Tex to create the Men's Idol Gore-Tex Drysuit. An impenetrable fortress of river-running mastery, the Idol is composed mainly of three-layer Gore-Tex Pro shell, which denies entry to frigid, rushing water while allowing the potentially day-ruining, clammy buildups of sweat and moisture to escape easily. Aside from superior breathability and waterproofing, extra protection from certain thrashing on the river is found in the Evolution nylon body and 330 Cordura shoulders, sleeves, and legs.

Maximizing versatility and ensuring a full range of motion, Kokotat implemented its waist-length SwitchZip separating entry that makes putting it on a breeze while providing the option of wearing the Idol as a full suit or as a dry top. The zipper on the SwitchZip entry is strategically placed on the lower back to nestle in between the back band and seat. The latex gaskets with neoprene punch-through collar and cuffs keep chafing to a minimum. Throw your keys in the self-draining, zippered sleeve pocket and spend all day on the water in dry comfort.

You’ll be everyone’s idol

The idol drysuit is great for kayakers. I was a little unsure about the middle zipper that can completely separate top from bottom but it's been great. It gives you the opportunity to just use the top on hotter days, or you can just use the bottoms as waders. Kokatat is top of the game in regards to drysuits. They have the best warranty and will pressure leak test your drysuit free read more if you ever want to send it in. Keep in mind the neck gasket will be very tight at first but breaks in with time.

Kokatat Idol Gore-Tex Dry Suit - Men's Questions and Answers

Asked by Scott B. 6 years ago

Is transmit power lower vs larger models? I see battery life is 50hr vs 100hr for larger versions, and accuracy is 3m vs 5m, so the internals must be different. Does Backcountry have a contact at Garmin who can provide that information?
