The reinforced knees and seat areas hold up to continued abuse on boats, rocks, sand, etc... a leaky skirt left me with enough water in my boat at times to come into the seat. Sitting in water all day, I never once had wetness on the inside. Care for the zipper and it will treat you well. In 5 months of heavy use I replaced the neck gasket twice and wrist gasket once. Take care to learn proper technique before doing this! Overall, this is a solid heavy use suit. Care for it properly and it will last you a long time.
