Junk!

Deflated 2nd night into a 14 day trip leaving me sleeping on hard ground! Unable to fix, bad valve.

Not good for a side sleeper.

The quality of this item is good and comfortable for the price if you're a back sleeper. I'm 6ft 180lbs and this pad is too thin for me as a side sleeper. I was on a 5 day canoe trip and woke up several times each night from hip pain and had bruises over both hips by the end of the trip. Pros: Inflates easy, easy to use valve, durable. Cons: Too thin and not enough support read more for a side sleeper. Deflates a little slowly.

Began leaking the first time used

I was very excited to use this sleeping pad after getting it for a work/research backpacking trip to Yellowstone. I was impressed by the price and the reviews. However, 1-2 days into my trip, the pad was already leaking and woke up several times throughout the night laying on the rock hard ground after it had deflated. It has a neat valve that twists shut, but mine seemed to be read more leaking from the valve so I do not think it is sealing all the way and not sure how to fix it. Disappointed nonetheless.

Light, tight, and almost just right!

Solid lad for the price, packs well, weighs little. Pretty comfortable and geometry of the pad keeps you from rolling off. Not the best pad ever but definitely up there. Ridges makenit sleep cold on the snow but that’s not really what it was made for. Only real complaint is that it is hard to blownall the way up while closing air valve. 9/10 overall rating. Solid setup for the read more bargain price.

Light in your pack and on your wallet

I was really impressed with this pad. I brought it along on a two night backpacking trip for my mom to use. She's 5'7" with a smaller frame and this was perfect for her. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over 6'0" however. It rolls up to be about the size of a Nalgene. There are lighter options out there for backpacking and thru-hiking but this one works wonderfully if you're read more going on anything under a 3 night trip. It doesn't take much to inflate it, and it's lofty so side sleepers will be pleased with it's performance.

Amazing!

I love this sleeping pad. Being a side sleeper i found incredible comfort while using this pad. It's small, light and quick to inflate. Its extremely comfortable and seems very durable. I've only used a handful of times but so far I've been really impressed!

Desert Ready

A friend of mine took this pad to Capitol Reef and LOVED it!!! Here's what he had to say: I highly recommend this sleeping pad. It has a unique design which requires very little air to fully inflate, which is great at the end of a tough day when you just want to get set up and relax. It took another member of my group about 4 times as long to blow up his pad! It also packs down read more incredibly small--smaller than my Nalgene--for minimal pack space and weight. Awesome pad!!!

I dig it

this pad was great, it didn't move around that much, it stayed under me, it was an easy set, the material is super durable, they were an easy pack up as well. Super lightweight, and can roll up to a great packable size. I would definitely suggest this item to a friend, great for camping and backpacking.

Light and Comfortable!

This sleeping pad is very comfortable for how packable and lightweight it is. It works very well for side sleepers like myself. It only takes a few large breaths to blow it up so you won't be exhausted afterwards.

Perfect For Side Sleepers

I borrowed this pad from a friend for a weekend camping trip. I move around a lot in my sleep & tend to sleep on my side alot; I never felt the ground! This pad is absolutely amazing, especially for the size & price.

Excellent warm weather pad

The Static V2 sleeping pad is great for warm weather camping. It's thick enough for side sleepers and back sleepers alike. It's small enough and doesn't take forever to inflate. If you're camping in colder weather check out the insulated version to keep you warmer. I toss and turn a lot at night and the side baffles help keep me on the pad and off the ground. Highly recommend read more it.

Can't beat it!

I bought this pad as a gift for a family member. They are just getting into camping backpacking and needed a solid pad without spending a lot of money. They have taken this out a few time and love how compact and comfortable this pad has been. Would reccomend to anyone!

Amazingly compact and comfortable!

These pads are great! They pack up so small but they are amazingly comfortable! The V2 is a must have for backpacking light! Durability will be proven over time, but for now I'm really optimistic!

Easy to use

This thing is really easy to blow up, and packs down easily once you get used to it. It's also really comfortable to sleep on pretty much no mater how you sleep. If you're on the taller side or sleep on your side it's a really good option. I haven't had any problems with it popping or tearing yet, and I even woke up to find that I'd slept on top of a pretty jagged stump (which I read more didn't notice thanks to this thing). I think you get a lot more than you'd expect based on its price point.

So Small

Easy to air up. It is so small. Good for camping. Only downside is its R value is a little low but you can always buy an insulated one.

never worked

I bought this pad for my boyfriend for his birthday. the first time we opened it was on the site we had canoed to stay for 5 nights. the thing had multiple holes. we canoed to town and got the appropriate materials to patch the holes. the patches wouldn't hold and ultimately I ended up sleeping on the ground for 5 nights. huge disappointment

A+++

Absolutely love this thing for the price and size. If you don't currently use an inflatable pad, just spend the fifty bucks and treat yourself to a fairly light, extremely comfortable, space saving pad.

Great mid-range pad

Very comfortable, super light, and surprisingly small pack size. Given the weight, size, and comfort of this pad, I would consider it to be a great option for the money. The only downside is that the material can tear if you are not careful but it does come with a patch kit.

Really small but....

My valve ended up seizing up due to errant dust/wind storms. Still works ok, but I have a yank the entire valve core out in order to deflate/inflate. Kind of a bummer. Other than that it's an easy, comfortable, and tiny pad.

All Big Agnes brand air mattress models are 20" wide. This one is listed at 23" wide. Has anyone tried this mattress inside the air pad pocket of a rectangular Big Agnes sleeping bag? Does it work?
