This helmet rules. It is very light for a TT lid: 388g size medium with visor. It actually comes with a clear visor not mirrored as pictured. Fit is excellent and it looks very cool--no silly super-long tail. Longer-tailed TT helmets are only really good if you can keep your head up all the time. For those of us who ride with a head-down position--the bobbed TT helmet is much more… read more aerodynamic (and probably much lighter too). Weight does play a part in holding a aero position for any length of time and is certainly a concern with a hilly TT like Tour of the Gila's. Get this if you want to go faster.

Two weeks after I purchased this helmet, I crashed hard and fast on it. The helmet was cracked and ripped up, but my head survived intact. Great helmet in terms of fit, and weight. For the money spent, I would have expected a nicer carrying case, rather than the bag included. Additionally, only a clear visor is included. For the price of the helmet I would expect a much nicer travel case along with at least a tinted, if not a clear, and tinted visor.
