holes started to appear.

I was using this for a few weeks and shortly after a few holes started to appear. Did not think much of it but soon the holes started to get bigger. This was my mistake for not immediately contacting customer service since I was trying to be nice and see if I can just make do however it got to point where is was pretty much unwearable, when I did finally contact the company they read more did not offer to help since the warranty was over. I would not recommend this product and probably the company as a whole for horrid customer service. This is essentially a luxury brand I expected a little more, oh well.

Warm winter wear

I have had these in my rotation of everyday long underwear during the winter. They are a tad more "wooly" (scratcy) than some other pairs, but I never notice when I wear them

Great baselayer

Lightweight, warm without being too hot, and fit great. Would buy another pair.

I forgot I was wearing them

That was an issue because when I take my pants off I forget I'm wearing them and I almost rip them. Warm and cozy, do you need to know more? great for layering and no signs of baggy areas.

Love these

In the winter I prefer to layer two pairs of icebreaker 200 than to wear a single pair of 260's, I find it more comfortable. . I bring two pairs with me on summer backpacking trips and wear them under shorts when it gets cold instead of packing bulky pants.

Men's leggings

I made the wrong purchase with these. If you're looking for something to keep you warm during the winter, these are not it. Instead I went with the Under Armour 2.0

Already ripped with very litte usage...

Wow - I expected way better than this. I'm only 32/34 waist / lenght, but neither med or large in this model really fits...med just too small (but snug) - large too baggy....I can't figure that out - that's a very standard size (I have shorter legs for my height I guess). I've only used this for snowboarding 3 times and then general cold weather base maybe 2-3 times (non rugged) read more so getting a fail this soon is surprising. Anyway, for what it is - this otherwise seemed like the better model I've had in years except this AM when I pulled it up, as I'd done any # of baselayer pants in 30 year and never had this issue - they ripped just below the waistband. IT was only then I noticed the material is nearly see-through in that section. I purchased this baselayer pant due to the good reviews below and I don't dispute those - sometimes things just fail as not every item can actually be the same durability, quality, etc. Still - when dropping decent coin, esp on a one of the more recom'd items here, it shouldn't just rip in less than a month. Totally going to refund and buy higher.

Swear by them

IMHO, the best gear is the piece that you forget you even have on and don't need to worry about. This is that piece. Warm, breathable and tough. I go thru a ton of long underwear and this stands the test of time. Wore these and a very lightweight summer pant in single degree temps and I was comfy. They also don't get that smell that some synthetic fabric does. Merino for the read more win! They also dry very quickly.

Keeps you warm and dry-comfortable

These are great pieces. The aspect of wool coarse feel is non existent and performs amazingly well at keeping you warm and dry.

A Good Option

These “Everyday” leggings fit as advertised, and wear well so far. They were chosen as a replacement for the “Oasis” model that was way to small for me. Good quality...whatever the difference between "Oasis" and "Everyday" might be, it is minimal so far. Durability may eventually be better with "Oasis" but this is still an unknown. I own a few Icebreaker t-shirts and briefs read more that have been excellent. The long versions, when sized correctly, should also be great!

Good bottoms

I liked these baselayers, they handled sweat amazingly. My only complaint is they seemed to stretch out a bit when they get really wet. I plan to experiment with sizing a bit and see if a medium might work a bit better for me. Performance wise these bottoms are fantastic, don't hesitate to pick them up!

Cool as Ice

These are really nice base layer leggings. They fit true to size and are comfortable. Hopefully they wear well and last a long time.

Wool is the way to go

These are a nice lightweight baselayer and they are simply awesome. They keep you nice and dry and feel great against the skin. Need to update all of my baselayers to wool.

warm and comfortable

Picked these up because they were a good price and I heard good things about Icebreaker wool. We had some serious cold weather roll in to SLC and these worked out perfectly. They're warm, soft and very comfortable. Inside, I barely notice I'm wearing them, but as soon as I step outside, I'm glad I have them on. 5'9 with 30in waist and I went with the Medium

Great Value

If you have experience with merino baselayers then I don't need tos sell you on it... but if you don't, you MUST give them a shot. The merino has a magical ability to regulate temperature, avoid odor, and be soft and cozy. And often it is tough to justify the cost of upgrading from synthetic to merino, but these bottoms are a great deal. You can definitely still find synthetics read more for cheaper, but I would highly recommend giving these a try. There's nothing crazy about them... just a very simple long underwear bottom that feels great and wont break the bank. As for sizing, I'm 6'1 190lbs and a 34 waist and Large fits great, so I would say they are true to size and to their size chart. Get some and get outside to put them to the test yourself!

Warm and fuzzy

Thank you to Backcountry.com and Icebreaker for hand-selecting me to review this piece of gear for the benefit of the backcountry.com community. Overview: Midweight material 100% merino wool. Very tight knit weave which gives it a smooth feel. Sizing is spot on for a medium. I'm 32"x33". The form fit is perfect, no bunching Pro: Amazing next to skin feel. The athletic fit read more is supportive yet breathable where you want it to be so. The wicking and thus cooling aspect of wool is key for long days in the mountains. Thicker material is warmer than a standard base layer yet highly breathable. The best part for dirtbaggers, No funky odor! Con: None thus far. I camped for 2 days and a night on Mt Hood wearing these the whole time, never did I get that "holy cow I need a shower" feeling. I asked by touring partner to smell them and with offers of beer when we got to town he obliged. No odor! A few traill runs with cold mountain air and I forgot I was wearing them. All in all Icebreaker is going to replace Smartwool for me.
