Hutchinson Sector 32 Tire - Tubeless reviews and deals for sale
Races don't always take place on the smoothest stretches of tarmac around, and often, they're better for it. Of course, the French rubbermasters at Hutchinson are already aware of that; graced with arguably the greatest of the Spring Classics in their own backyard, they know what it takes to race, not simply ride, the famed cobbles between a certain two French cities. Though we all don't have the luxury of racing the Classics every year, our own Fondos, gravel races, and training rides can be wrought with rough, unpredictable road surfaces.
When you need to power through courses that test your bike handling and strength, make sure you're sitting atop Hutchinson's ultralight Sector 32 Tire. It won't give you Boonen's unparalleled legs or the ability to jump over fallen riders à la Sagan, but this dual-compound, high-TPI tire will keep you rolling quickly and with control over terrain that aims to drag you down. Whether you're on a lithe endurance frame or an energetic gravel grinder, the Sector 32's Hardskin protection will encourage you to barrel into tricky spots and rail tight corners with the reassurance that this race tire was made for the rough stuff.

I'm running these tubeless on Vision Metron carbon rims after previously running Maxxis Refuse. The Refuse went over 3,000 miles as a rear tire and was flawless until it was completely worn. The Hutchinson has a smaller profile and does not seal on the rim nearly as well. I frequently find it deflated prior to a ride and have to reseal it/inflate it. Once sealed/inflated, it's… read more fine on the ride, but not the most confidence inspiring.

May 22, 2020Great tire
Bought these for my gravel bike put on my DT Swiss 1850 wheel set. These are replacing my Schwalbe 40c knobbies and the difference is like a dream. These are wide enough to still have some traction in the sand but smooth enough to feel efficient on the road. Install was simple for tubeless (no soap) just for the site dry, inflated to check the seal, injected the sealant through… read more the valve core and reinflated. Used these for about 300 miles so far on varied terrain without issue. Traction on corners is superb on the road and thee ride overall is supple. I’m 85kg and running 65psi without issue.

November 1, 2018Great gravel tire
I use these on my commute which includes a couple of miles of sand/gravel. I got over 5000 miles out of them and zero flats. I tried the 28mm width and found they were too narrow to float well on sand, and were much less grippy in hard braking situations. Going back to the 32mm Sectors once I wear current tires out.

August 8, 2018Perfect!
I rarely work on my own bikes, usually using LBS, but these tires went on easily by hand without tools (I'm running them tubeless). They hold air very well thus far. I've only ridden about 300 miles on them thus far, and I am very pleased. They are narrower and much lighter than the tires I replaced.

These tires are exceptional. Fast rolling, supple feel, easy to set up tubeless. I love everything about these tire. I've run a dozen different gravel tires but find these Hutchinsons to be the best. They are light, tough and fast. Everyone is obsessed with 40c gravel tires, but a 32 slick is so much faster. These are best of all the slicks I have tried. I like them so much… read more I got some 28s for my road bike for off season.

These installed easily on my Hed Belgium+ rims and hold air very well with 2 Oz of Stan's. I took these out on a 30 mile dirt road with pretty significant scattered rocks over typical Las Vegas "gravel road". Decent traction and more importantly- no flats. Ran at 65 psi. Plush and fast on the road.

August 26, 2017I tried Gatorskin 32mm and they almost fit my rim brake Synapse but rubbed slightly within the brake arms. I heard Gatorskins fit large relative to stated size, so I'm searching for a "small" fitting 32mm tire that's not ultralight. Tubeless or tubed is fine but tubeless better. Suggestions based on actual experience fitting?
