November 27, 2018Great grip
These will give you great grip and they don't break with abrasion and long term wear. Excellent for snow, ice, and mud.

October 29, 2018Great...
...light crampon or heavy spike for winter trail hiking or running. I particularly like the Velcro strap that fastens across the upper foot for a reliable, snug fit which helps prevent the spikes from slipping. Highly recommend!

September 7, 2018Great Crampons
First time using crampons... These are really nice so far. Easy to get on/off, they stayed on great. Used them to hike up frozen waterfalls in New Mexico. This was walking up steep sections of pure, smooth, solid ice. They were great! Would have been impossible to get up without them on. Not possible with "Yaktrax" or anything like that. Need spiked crampons for solid, slick ice.

Really sound, lightweight option for traction on snow and ice. No balling at all on the three hour ascent of Quandary, though in softer stuff I got a little buildup in the rubber straps - quick and easy fix. The sizing is very accurate. I got a large for mens size 10.5 Asolo hiking boots. Definitely make sure to shake them off well and dry them before storage. Mine collected… read more some rust on the chains after the first use.

January 6, 2017Good grip
These crampons are probably the best purchase I've made this year. I've used them extensively in the Sierras, the Wasatch, Alberta, and northwestern Montana. They have made hiking in the winter a breeze. While other people have been slipping and falling on the trail, these crampons have allowed me to stand my ground and walk comfortably. They've become especially useful when hiking… read more in the backcountry along icy cliff edges in areas that would be off limits without crampons. I also love that the rubber on these is pretty stretchy. They fit great over my hiking boots as well as my very wide sorrels. I wear a size 9.5 women's shoe and I got these in a Medium. Love these things!
