Helly Hansen ULLR Sogn HT Glove - Men's reviews and deals for sale

It's markedly easier to enjoy the fruits of a cold and stormy powder day if you can feel your hands and fingers all day long. The ULLR Sogn HT Glove is designed to keep your digits prepared for unrelenting winter temperatures, while making your day on the mountain a little easier. Thinsulate synthetic insulation traps your body heat inside of the glove, yet remains low-profile to improve dexterity without a bulky feel. Helly Hansen’s Performance waterproof membrane repels moisture from high-flying powder, as well as late season slush for long-lasting comfort. The goat-skin leather palm is built to last, and improves dexterity for on-the-fly gear adjustments throughout the day.

Excellent Gloves at Any Price

I used these for 8 days of skiing in British Columbia and they were a treat to use. They kept my hands toasty in temps ranging from teens to twenties (F), were super comfortable and the cinch straps/cords are easy to use. Quality seems excellent so hopefully they last a long time.

Very Warm for Weight

I had ordered Arcteryx Fission gloves and found them to have a bizarre and unacceptable fit, so I ordered a 3 others that seemed similar, including these. These won and were kept. The fit is true to size, and my fingers reach the end of the glove's fingers, which helps with dexterity. In fact, given how warm these are, they're very dexterous. They come with wrist leashes that read more can be easily removed, if you don't want them on the glove. They have a loop at the base of the gauntlet to help pull them on, although they go on easily anyway. The leather is very soft. I was afraid the leather on the back across the base of the knuckles (where the embossed logo is) would be stiff, but it is soft and pliable. They can be cinched tight at the wrist and the end of the gauntlet with one-handed operation to tighten and loosen. They have either Helly Tech Professional or Helly Tech Performance membrane. I say "or" because the tags that come with them say both! The Professional is like 20,000/20,000, and the Performance is something like 15,000/15,-20,000. Either way, they keep out heavy wet snowfall during storm skiing, and they seem to breath pretty well. They are very warm, and anything over 30 degrees may be too warm...unless worn with the closures open wide. For a typical ski day in the teens and 20's, they're perfect. Also light with impressive dexterity. It is still early, but I'm thinking these may be the best overall gloves I have ever owned. And they're nearly 1/2 the cost of the less warm Arcteryx Fissions. Strongly recommend.
