Gore Wear C7 Pro 2in1 Bib Shorts+ - Men's reviews and deals for sale

We're really excited about these shorts. While we prefer baggies for trail rides for additional comfort and extra storage pockets, our roadie side can't shake the support and comfort of bib shorts. This often has us wearing our favorite bibs as liners under baggies which is great, but not ideal. The fit isn't as refined allowing for unwelcome sliding between the baggies and the bibs while riding, and the shorts constantly sag leaving us to tighten down the side straps until it becomes uncomfortably tight. Doubling up shorts also becomes uncomfortably hot on long summer rides. Finally, we don't want to ruin our road bibs if we happen to get caught riding a muddy wet trail. If you think or ride like we do, we feel you'll enjoy the ingenious C7 Pro 2in1 Bib Shorts+ from Gore Wear as much as we do.

These 2in1 short give the look of a baggy short with the support that can only come from bib. Gore reached out to its elite athletes for feedback and these shorts are the result and allow for epic rides where you can't afford to sacrifice on comfort but don't want to rock a tight lycra look either. The intergraded bib/baggy construction optimizes the fit while the high-quality Expert MTB insert provides ample cushioning from trail blows and the splash protection keeps you dry. Abrasion-resistant materials on the inside of the legs and the saddle area add an impressive amount of durability while the side mesh pocket gives you quick access to essentials. The mesh construction on the bibs and inserts on the front and back add ventilation on stifling days with plenty of climbing. Finally, a reflective logo helps with visibility if the light is fleeting as you hit the road back to the trailhead.

Very comfortable. Great for hot weather

I started to use bis a few years to ride my muy mountain bike, and don't want to go back to liner sorts. However, in the Texas summer, wearing a bib and a baggy short on top can be a bit hot. When it is really hot, I wear a single Fox bib liner that is designed to be worn with or without a short. I discovered this Gore C7 2 ni 1 and ordered it first in size Medium; I am 172lbs, read more 5'11", but it was too tight at the waist (33"). I exchanged for a Large and absolutely love it. this is a great concept, and the execution is excellent. It fits so well, so barely feel you are wearing it. The materials for both the liner and the short are very thin and airy, and the pad is also very comfortable. Overall, I feel that it keeps me significantly drier, even in under the pad, than anything else I have worn so far. The suspenders are not very tight and may not keep the shorts and liner as high as you would want; it is actually very comfortable and once on the bike it is perfect. and never hooks up on the saddle. The shorts are not too long, and sometimes the liner stick out 1/2 an inch out of the short when riding, but this is not an issue. Well worth the money. Amazon had a great price on it. As I ride pretty frequently, I may buy a second one this summer, and this will probably become my favorite bib for summer rides. Only negatives: - there is no pocket except for a small one in the back, but it is a bi thigh and not easy to access when the bib is on. - there are diagonal stitches on the back of the thighs; I don't feel them at all when on the bike or standing but you feel them when seating in a car seat.
