These are not approach shoes

While quickly descending talus fields or slab, your foot slides forwards and your toes slam into the front of the shoe. My toes were extremely sore after a couple of 10-14 hour car-to-car climbs with long approaches. The mesh upper is also terrible for any desert approaches, or sandy scree. All the dust comes in and cakes onto your sock. If you want a nice looking pair of shoes, consider these shoes. If you want to do approaches, do not get these shoes.
