Edelrid Zodiac Climbing Helmet reviews and deals for sale

The climber's reigning terror of rock-fall, also known as choss, is a lot less scary when you have Edelrid's Zodiac Climbing Helmet overhead. This impact-resistant shell bounces pebbles and debris off your dome so you can stay in the game, and the internal expanded foam attenuates shock when you bonk your head. Wing Fit and rear adjustment systems ensure a secure fit, and there are large vents for much-needed airflow in warm temperatures. The Zodiac also features an adjustable chin straps, four clips for a headlamp, and spare padding for a fine-tuned fit.

Great for big heads!

I've got a giant, bald head that needed a helmet that wasn't going to make a popping sound every time it came off or assistance shoving it on like all my other helmets seemed to need. I climb in the ADKs and the Gunks so this helmet has had a rain covers, hats, handkerchiefs, and bug nets under it at various times and was always comfortable. It's easy to adjust and doesn't wobble read more around. You can fit two sandwiches or a chalk bag in it when you're setting up your pack for long approaches. And even in hot, 90+ degree weather, it wasn't terrible. Five stars for this bucket!

So far, so good

I just started climbing outdoors this year & knew I would need a helmet. The fit is great and can be adjusted to wear a hat underneath if needed. It feels snug on my head and doesn't shift around if I'm looking up/down. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Love this helmet.

Finally needed to upgrade from my BD half dome helmet. I liked that old one, but it would always slid back on my head when I was looking up. This helmet stays in place and fits really comfortably, and has enough room to wear a visor or hat underneath. All around my favorite climbing helmet I've tried with a pretty decent price point.
