Light and Strong

This carabiner is super light! I use this and the DMM Shadow whenever I'm in the gym. It has a super strong feel for the weight, so throwing this as an extra onto your belt is hardly noticeable - but it's come in handy for me quite a few times! Been super happy with it while using an ATC or my Petzl Grigri, I'd definitely recommend adding this to any climbing belt arsenal!

A Light Little D Brother

The Phantom is the little brother of DMM's Shadow. Smooth gate and lock, slim nose (narrow enough to unlock the DMM Pivot, though not the Mega Jul - need a Petzl Spirit or Edelrid Pure Screw for that). The Shadow is close in size, weight, and profile to several other good offset D's, including Petzl's Spirit, Mammut's Wall Micro, Edelrid's Pure Screw. But the Phantom sneaks past read more them all as the smallest and lightest. How light? 10 grams less than the Shadow may not sound like much, but you can feel the difference. This has the 'Whoa! That's light' effect when you pick it up. If the size suits you, the 'biner will.

Lightweight, super strong, just great

In my opinion, this is the best screw locking carabiner to add to your rack — whether sport or trad. I love the shape. The little groove at the top guides your rope to exactly the right spot. I use these for everything from anchor building to belaying (when using an ATC). They're super lightweight, so you can throw a few on your harness without adding a bunch of weight, but they're read more also super strong.
