Decked Ford Truck Bed System reviews and deals for sale

If you and your gear yearn for the open road, the Decked Ford Truck Bed System ensures a completely organized trip with room for whatever fun Mother Nature throws your way. Rather than adding boxes to the top and sides of your pickup truck, the Truck Bed System utilizes the bed space itself to create a series of organized compartments. There are two bed-length drawers with additional smaller cans beneath for everything from tools, to fishing rods, to climbing racks. One of the drawers even comes with a bottle opener, should you feel the need to add some ice and beer to your kit. What’s even better is that the insert leaves a bit of space leftover in the bed so that you can pull out your inflatable mattress and sleep under the stars without the hassle of having to pitch a tent.

The entire system installs easily using your truck’s tie-downs. There is no drilling or bolting. It is constructed from a steel frame wrapped in HDPE with aluminum handles on the drawers. It is rated to hold 2000 pounds but weighs less than 200 pounds on its own.

Fantastic Product

I've seen and used several DIY versions of this product in vans, station wagons, and trucks. The DIY versions may offer a bit of customization, which is nice, but the fit and finish of the Decked system is phenomenal. It took me about an hour and a half to install on my own (I watched the install videos several times) and was pretty intuitive. Once installed, I immediately filled read more it with gear and went down to Moab with the family. On our drive back, we were hit with the heaviest rainstorm I have driven through in years! Cars and trucks were stopped on the side of the freeway or driving 10 mph. I was nervous water was pouring into the drawers, but didn't have anything that couldn't survive the water so I kept driving. When I got home, the drawers were dry as a bone and there were only traces of water in a couple of the ammo cans. In my opinion, unless you're in a car wash or a hurricane, you should be fine keeping anything in the drawers. Of course, you need to make sure you install the system correctly and take precautions until you're sure that your system is secure. I would recommend this to anyone who gets outside often. Fishing rods, kayak gear, bike helmets, tools, and many other things have made their way in and out of my boxes in the past month, and more will make its way through the cycle. I love being able to put stuff in the drawers and not worry about running into the grocery store on a road trip, or leaving it outside all day while I'm at work. I'm sure the time will come when I wish I had more height available in my truck bed, but so far I haven't thought about it. The one thing that I would love to have is the ability to lock the drawers open. If you're parked on a downhill slope, the wheels are so smooth that your drawers will close on you. Not a huge deal, but would be nice to have at times.

Hello, I came across your website and have a few questions. I have a 2013 Chevy LTZ 4X4 HD. Will your system fit that and then the top part where we would use to hold our dog kennels, does that pull out also? I can't ever reach the kennels without jumping in the back of the truck and crawling to reach the kennels to let the dogs out and I'm not getting younger. That would read more be what I'm looking for.
